The Blackjack BCD is a single bladder 1000 Denier Cordura with a 3.5 oz/square yard polyurethane lined material BCD for strength and extreme durability. The main body/ zippered pockets and shoulder straps are also manufactured from 1000 Denier with 1.5 oz/square yard polyurethane lining; with 1680 Denier Nylon pocket trim.

The quick-release weight pockets can accommodate 15lbs each, supplemental weight/accessory pockets with one inch slide release buckle hold up to 10lbs each and the rear trim weight pockets hold 5lbs each.

The standard tank band with steel/delrin cam buckle secures the cylinder firmly. A size adjustable padded nylon cummerbund with 2" center-pull side release buckle, and a small zippered pocket in the center of cummerbund for car, hotel key or "C"-Card.

To attach everything you need there are four D-Rings on the lower bladder around the waist area, two more above the waist area and four more pre-bent D-Rings on the shoulders. All D-Rings are stainless Steel and corrosion resistant. Nickel plated brass grommets are strategically placed for accessory attachment of BC knife and lanyards.

Premium inflator system with neoprene corrugated hose and cable pull dump mechanism and a rear lower pull dump for inverted release of air. Keep your BCD in close and snug with an adjustable sternum strap completes this BCD, making it one versatile buoyancy unit.

    Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
MARK S  sturdy construction, lots of attachment points for gear good fit
George S  This question was asked, but not answered. What is the weight of this BCD when dry? I am trying to figure whether it could be used in my travel rig. Thanks,
George S  Marcus, Steve, and Gergory - Thanks very much for your good advice. GES
Shopper  I need this BCD with my drysuit. I am 5'6'', waist 32, Will medium be big enough to use with drysuit? Will it hold at least 30 pounds of wt?
CHARLES S  Use the sizing chart for Bare. This bc does have extra adjustment at the back of the waistbelt. I was right at the limits between two sizes and bought the smaller after talking to Bare because of the extra adjustment in the waistbelt. I have used mine for drysuit diving and it was fine. I am not sure how much weight it will support but I have used up to 24lbs. The weight capacity should be listed in the specs. I love mine, but, did have a factory recall shortly after purchasing due to a bad batch of plastic in one of the bleeder valves. I spoke to Bare and they told to keep an eye on it an send it back during the off-season and they had it back to me before the next season. Bare has always been helpful to me when I contacted them directly. I know this was a long answer but a bc is an important decision, so, I figured I would let you know what I know.
