About Bare 7/6 Velocity Full Women's, Blue

This wetsuit is a combination of three material types, each with their own stretch characteristics, which make it really strong and quite flexible. We call this unique combination of materials Progressive Stretch neoprene. The Bare 7/6 Velocity Women's construction is a 7mm Progressive stretch torso with 6mm arms and legs for maxim warmth, yet giving flexibility to arms and legs. The VelocityWomen's boasts a 5mm comfortable contoured Glide-skin collar with Velcro adjustment for custom fit.

The unique internal skin-in seals at the mid-forearm and calf drastically reduce the water entry or exchange keeping you extremely warm throughout the dive. The Velocity Women's is anatomically shaped at the arms, knees and lower legs to increase the warmth by shaping to your body contours lowering the gaps in the suit seal to body; this increases the performance of fit giving extended warmth in the coldest conditions.

Form-Tek kneepads provide total flexibility, durability and comfort. Heavy-duty ankle zippers and loops at zipper base assist in suit donning, and the suit is double glued with Secure-Lock construction.

Comments about Bare 7/6 Velocity Full Women's, Blue:

I just received this suit today...bought it looking for something that would fit my 5'2", 120lb. frame for a decent price. While the length seemed to work well, it was so difficult to get into that I gave up after fighting with it for 15 minutes - and not even fully getting it on me! I've never had a suit that gave me such a hard time. The back zipper doesn't go down nearly far enough, and the internal leg seals prevented me from getting my leg fully through the length of the suit - it stops about 2 inches shy of where it needs to fit on my leg. And when you peel the suit off (typical inside-out style), the leg zippers chafe your skin pretty good on the way off. It feels like it'd probably be nice and warm in cooler waters, but I don't think anyone should have to struggle that much with a suit. I will be trying another brand - next review to post when it arrives!

kim r  I wear my suit in Bonaire as I dive w/a camera, very slow long dives; therefore I get cold. The suit is very warm & may be too warm for most in the Carribean.
