Comments about Blue Reef BAR Pony Bottle Tank Small Pressure Gauge:

I use a suunto wireless transmitter with my DX.
With this little gauge on my 1st stage, I can easily check my air before my dive without having to pair up my wireless transmitter.

        Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
WILLIAM Y  Very well designed and tough, takes up very little room on the 1st stage.
Shopper  Is the thread on this gauge 1/8 NPT? this question is for the seller of this product.
CURTIS D  Not sure what 1/8 NPT means, but if your Submersible High Pressure Gauge fits into the HP marked port on your first stage then this Pony Bottle Small Pressure Gauge will too.
PD P  I've bought the Zeagle 6 Cu Ft. Deploy Pony System 750-6206 but it had no gauge! Would this one fit it, or which one should I use?
CURTIS D  The Blue Reef Pony Bottle SPG fits most, if not all, Ist stage HP ports. I'm not familiar with the zeagle system and looking at the specs on the zeagle website and the photos of the 1st stage attached I'm not sure that this system HAS a separate HP port. Best to call Zeagle and get a definitive answer. BTW, IMHO(worth 2 cents), 6cf is not enough gas to self rescue in an OOA situation or to share with a buddy and make it to the surface without the buddy making a second demand on your own dedicated air/gas supply. Try a 13CF bottle and a separate low cost, low performance regulator. You may find this cheaper than the zeagle system and get twice the reserve gas.
