I bought a 36" hose to replace my traditional rubber hose on my main second stage. The hose is far more flexible than its predecessor and has significantly less 'pull'. I have heard some bad things about the high pressure varieties not being too reliable, but no so much about the LP hoses. Two dives in and I've had no problems as of yet.
great for traveling

Will this work for my Cressi digital air pressure gauge?
darrick c
Hello, no, you would need a high-pressure hose for gauges. If it reads pressure, you need High Pressure hose, if you breath off it you would need a Low Pressure hose.
GARY M
This is a low pressure hose, so will not work with a pressure gauge. Pressure gauge will require a high pressure hose.

Does this use polyester-TPU as a liner?
Richard G
Dear Jin Jin I have had this hose and it has performed flawlessly for several years now. I use them on my travel regulator set up as they are lightweight and pack well. I also like them for my BC inflator for my local dive reg setup as they are exceptionally flexible even when pressurized. All this but I did not answer your question...Sorry! Cheers

What does this hose weigh? Please specify which length you have.
FRANK C
Sorry, don’t have a weight in ounces, but certainly less than half of rubber. And more flexible.

30 inches is 0.16 lbs

This is a question which should be addressed by Leisurepro - not a third party. All braided flex hoses have a light colored plastic liner. There are presently about 3 different materials that mfrs have used for the inner liners. What is the material used on the inner liner of the Blue Reef braided hoses?
Christopher D
The inner lining of our low pressure flex hoses is made of HS-PVC

will this hose fit my scuba pro mk17 the hoses i have wont fit cause the tread is to big?
Jonathan D
I use this in both my mk16, mk17, and mk25 evo. All are the same. Even use it for my r190, g320, and 620 second stages
CHARLES N
Please make sure you are attaching low pressure use appliances with the proper low pressure hoses. High and low pressure hoses have different threads for safety
CHRISTOPHER L
The thread pitch for LP & HP hoses are universal, this hose will work from for a MK17 first stage and your second stage.
Remember, HP (High Pressure) & LP (Low Pressure) thread pitches/sizes are different....that's to make sure people CAN'T mix it up.
