Excellent knife - very sharp and well designed. Having read several reviews about it falling out of the scabbard, an easy fix is to take a rubber 2-ringed snorkel keeper, put the flat part of the scabbard (near the handle) through one loop and the butt cap / top section of the grip through the other loop. This keeps the knife in place and allows for the knife to still be easily removed. Have made 4 dives with it so far in the few weeks that I've had it, wipe it down after each dive, and no issues with rust. For the price, you can't beat it.

This particular knife is probably a replica of a great knife. For itself, it's terrible. On my first dive with this knife, it rusted during the 45 minutes I was in the water. It actually came out of the water rusty. A hairline fracture appeared on the (line cutting notch - don't know the proper terminology). I also could not sharpen the blade adqequately since the metal kept pitting all along the edge. The knife would be great if the metal were of quality.

Bought one for myself and daughter. We both like them a lot. Nice balance, comfortable grip, holds an edge, handy. Priced right...not too expensive which is good so when you drop it you won't do something stupid.

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
CHRISTOPHER C  Had several and I lost this and wanted it again
Andrew a  does the sheath lock the blade in?
          ROMAN S  yes
OFER Z  HI. can i tied the knife wite the rubber straps to the B.C ??
CHRISTOPHER C  It's not really designed to do that... it should be worn on the calf, but if you used small velcro straps, or pulled the rubber straps as tight as possible you might be able to. I would recommend a small hose mounted blunt tip knife like the "Tusa Mini BCD Knife, Blunt Tip". I have several of these and it's an excellent backup knife.
