The product as a whole is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a small BC knife to mount on my shoulder strap and it works perfect for that. I was very amazed at how well the knife secures inside the holder and that I can still remove it easily with one hand. The only problem I have with the knife is that the handle is a little to short, when holding it you can only get three fingers around the handle. I have pretty small hands and even just getting the three fingers on is tough. I like the blade length but the handle could use "at least" another 3/4". It almost feels like a kids play toy in your hands!

    Pink Blue Reef Knife

Not the best knife ever since it rusts after a dive even when rinsed, but for the money a good, functional tool.

Comments about Blue Reef 3.5" (8.9 cm) Compact BCD Knife, Drop Point Tip:

I do not use it on a BCD. I use it for a boat/utility knife. I put a carabineer on it and hang it from my belt. Very convenient and out of the way. Seemed to lose its edge pretty quick. The sheaf is great for one-handed and gloved operations. It is very secure. Probably too much point for what I use it for (boat knife). A sheep's foot point would probably be better.

Nice little knife. Yes little. It is very small and the handle does not fit in my hand. Still very useful and versitile. Case holds the knife well. Knife clips into case. Case has multiple attachment options.

Comments about Blue Reef 3.5" (8.9 cm) Compact BCD Knife, Drop Point Tip:

I ordered this knife on sale to be used primarily as a safety tool for cutting myself free from discarded fishing line, netting, or lines while surf casting in extreme conditions. This is a really small knife, but it should serve the purpose well enough with the line cutter notch and serrated edge. Seems secure in sheath. Note that the inflexible belt loop, while wide enough for the belt itself, will not fit over wader belt latches commonly used by fishermen. I used the screw-on panel to affix it to mine.

I thought the knife was too small. I couldn't attach it to the pre-existing holes in my BC. Didn't line up.

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
bob D  needed knife for posible tangles and the price was right, handy to have.
Shopper  I have two of these I bought from Leisure Pro and really like them, very handy. However, I have cracked the sheath on one, can I get a replacement? I hate to throw away a perfectly good knife because the case broke.
GLENN M  i bought one and gave it to my dive buddy as a gift. no problems with the sheath, so far. nothing plastic cannot be fixed with super glue, epoxy, and duct tape. my dive buddy is really into pink. wal mart sells pink duct tape.
Diane F  Is there a way to attach this to your leg? I am a new diver and seem to forget I have pockets in my BCD. Thank you
ANGIE P  yes you can , you just need a velcro knife strap , it runs through the casing , you just can't see the hole
