The Wreck of the San Pedro was added as an additional attraction (and an additional artificial reef) in 1996, although partially collapsed by typhoons that have scoured it over the last decade or so, the San Pedro remains a picturesque home for turtles and white tip reef sharks. It's a popular dive sojourn for photographers. Remember as you dive the wreck that a submarine "dive-by" is a possibility, as the company that placed the San Pedro on the bottom still tours regularly with Atlantis Submarines. An encounter with a sub provides something extra, exciting, and unusual to see.
