About Atomic M1
The Atomic M1, designed for extreme diving situations, uses state-of-the-art metals like Monel, 316-stainless steel, zirconium-coated brass, and titanium. Monel is employed in the first stage for strength, corrosion-resistance, and oxygen compatibility, while other metals are used throughout the second stage. With an expanded performance range, the M1 caters to recreational or technical diving conditions, meeting virtually any requirement or scenario.
Built on the acclaimed T2 and B2 platforms, the M1 features a balanced flow-thru piston design with Atomic's jet seat high-flow Monel piston. Its exclusive high-pressure piston seal system is self-lubricating, requiring low maintenance. The M1 offers superior diving performance even at low tank pressure and is Nitrox-ready up to 50% or oxygen mixes up to 80%. Additionally, it is freeze-protected and contamination-resistant with a factory-sealed first stage.
Designed for easy breathing scuba diving at all depths and conditions, the M1 second stage is ideal for cold water diving with a thermal heat sink and improved super-dry exhaust valve. It features Atomic's patented seat-saving dynamic orifice, which prolongs the life of the second-stage poppet seal.
Equipped with Atomic's patented automatic flow control (AFC), the M1 optimizes breathing ease at all depths. It also includes a rapid adjustment knob for unique situations. The high-flow second stage design significantly reduces breathing effort, while the wide exhaust deflector enhances visibility by dispersing bubbles. The regulator comes with a 3/8" threaded 32" (81.3cm) low-pressure hose and weighs 2.6 lbs. (1,191 g). An owner's manual is included.
