About Atomic Ti6 Titanium Knife

A Dive Knife is a Tool a Diver needs on Every-Dive. Most Knives are made of Stainless Steel. A Stainless Steel Knife, if not Cleaned-and-Dried properly, will begin to Rust. Titanium has a greater Resistance-to-Corrosion and is More-Forgiving then Stainless Steel. Titanium is Lighter-Weight then steel so it makes a more desirable Tool then Stainless Steel does. Light-Weight and Corrosion-Free! This Knife is Durable, has an Ergonomic Handle Grip, and is Low-Profiled. This Knife is beautifully crafted and has a Honed Full-Tang Blade. The renowned Atomic design aesthetic is apparent in the Molded Plastic Handle with Finger Grooves for a Secure-Grip. A Lanyard Hole helps Cold Water Divers with Limited-Dexterity due to Thick-Mitts to keep the Knife within reach.

Cleaning is made Super-Easy with the Removable Handle. The Knife has a 4" (10.2 cm) Curved Blade which is Ideal-for-Cutting Fishing Line or Kelp. The Ti6 with its Positive Locking Sheath with Push Button Releaseis Easy-to-Handle and Remove-from-its-Sheath with only Two-Fingers. Knife Blade has both a Serrated and a Straight Edge and is complete with a Line Cutter. The Knife Sheath like the Knife is Lightweight in design, made from Durable Molded Plastic and comes with Leg Straps that are equipped with Quick-Adjust Buckles. The Atomic Aquatics Ti6 Titanium Knife is available in either a Blunt or Drop Point Tip Model. Blunt TIP Model provides Multiple-Tool Function. Knife comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

The best thing about this knife is that it is easy to remove with either hand. Although I dive with neoprene gloves, I find the release mechanism on this knife is really novel and works well.

Comments about Atomic Ti6 Titanium Knife:

I've owned several Atomic Aquatics products before and have always been pleased; the Ti6 knife is no exception. The blade is perfectly sized, definitely not a monstrosity and yet not too small either. I also found the hand grip to be appropriately designed with plenty of room to get a good, full grip and nice ergonomic contours. The release mechanism was a bit tricky a first but after some practice it became second nature. All in all, the perfect utility knife.

Simply, a great knife! I got the blunt tip (as I'm not planning on stabbing anybody with it). It's extremely sharp, well built, easy to hold even with gloves and fits very well in its holder.

this is the greatest knife ever invented it saved my dad from a major tangle of fishing net off of north carolina the knife cut through the 1/4 inch net like butter get the pointed one because all the hype of stabbing yourself is BS you need to have at least one pointed knife very light so there isnt umf behind it but absolutely fantastic knife i love AA

            Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
RAY T  It looked cool. However, when I got it, I was more than pleased. The locking/release mechanism is the easiest I have ever used in the 4 knifes I have owned over my 40 years of diving.
            Shopper  pointed or blunt?
            LINDA P  Pointed
Shopper  does the blade extend thru the handle?
Sherwood P  I believe that it does, on the end of the handle there is a HEX type screw that you can remove which allows you to remove the blade completely from the handle. I will say this, I have had this knife with me on every dive, from Doria, U-869, to the shallow stuff since I bought it back in 2007 and it has never once corroded or let me down in anyway! It is a very well built, sturdy knife that should last you many years. Hope this helps.
