I decided to get a high pressure tank and needed to convert my yoke to DIN. This did the trick. It is easy to install and easy to take off if I need to put my yoke valve back on for any reason.

This is easy to install. It will take you all of about 60 sec once you have the right tools. Got a great price by calling direct.
You started diving with yoke style cylinder valves, but you feel the higher cylinder pressure available with DIN cylinders will be an advantage to your style of diving. Well this kit will allow you to do just that, shed the yoke and increase bottom time with this 300-bar (4350 psi) DIN conversion kit for all Yoke Atomic Brass Regulators. Also, Scuba divers who travel overseas will want to have a DIN adapter to convert to the tanks available at the local dive sites. The kit allows you to easily convert your first stage, if required, so you can use your own gear rather than rental gear! Most HP cylinders are made from steel, so you can also remove some of the weight from your weight system due to the lower buoyancy characteristics of the HP cylinder. For Atomic M1, Atomic B2 Sealed, Atomic B2 Swivel, Atomic Z2, Atomic Z2 Sealed, Atomic Z3 Sealed Swivel, and Atomic Z3 Swivel Regulators (see SKU's: ATMM1BK, ATMB2SS, ATMB2S, ATMZ2SS, ATMZ2S, ATMZ3SY, ATMZ3RY).
This product can only be shipped to U.S. addresses.

Can I purchase just a brass DIN handwheel? Don't need the DIN barrel.
Mario C
Unfortunately not.
JOE S
No this comes as one piece and is only offered as the assembly.

Is this the all-metal kit or the *new* kit with the black plastic wheel?
Christopher M
Black plastic wheel
CLAUDE L
I received the plastic wheel, although the metal unit is pictured. Rather disappointed, as the advertisement is misleading. The handwheel is a lot lighter than the chome plated brass counterpart but it's ridiculously ugly...

Black plastic wheel

What tools are needed to accomplish the conversion of an Atomic regulator from yoke to DIN?
ADAM K
Yes you need 1 inch yoke nut socket. The 3/8 inch extension is helpful. You can get them online.
Michael B
You need a 1" socket and socket extension to remove the yoke fitting and a 1/4" hex wrench or socket to secure the DIN fitting. You will need a torque wrench to properly set the DIN fitting
MAVERICK K
Here you go
Torque wrench:
3/8" Drive Dial Torque Wrench
Sockets
X-Long 5/16" Hex Key Socket
X-Long 6mm Hex Key Socket
CARL K
is there a video of the installation?
JAY B
No need for one. If you have the tools, the instructions are pretty simple.
Wayne K
Does this work for the Atomic, T2X?
E S
I want to convert a atomic B2 regulator yoke to din., is that possible?
and is if possible, what can I use, brass or staninless steel?
Wayne K
That conversion kit is about the same price as another functional regulator. Seems like a better choice to have a DIN with the conversion to yoke than the other way around.

Greetings,
I purchased the brass conversion kit for a brass B2, which works great. If the brass will seat with a titanium body is another question. Both materials are very different, the titanium being the stronger of the two. I would buy a titanium kit to be safe, Leisure pro did sell them at one time.. Cheers
SCOTT D
The T2X is a titanium regulator. There is a separate DIN conversion kit for titanium regulators.
Atomic says that this is a professional-installation item, since it opens the regulator's internal chamber, and recommends ordering and installation by an authorized dealer.
