Comments about Atomic Cobalt Air/Nitrox Air Integrated Computer Console with 3D Digital Compass & Quick Disconnect Hose:

This computer matches the hype. Solid, non-assuming but technically deep and able to do all that any advanced "non-tech" diver would ever need, so user friendly it's actually fun just to program and set up, it's small and compact but has a big enough screen to easily see, and the vivid color display is truly incredible...a sight to see underwater. It's like looking at Time Square at night...No worries about trying to read it in bad conditions. I turned my dive light off just to look at it in total darkness. The only thing I have the slightest issue with is the "Safety/Deco Stop" time window in the upper left of the screen which is a little smaller than I would prefer for my aging eyes, but it's so easy to understand and visually instructive a beginner would have no problem working their way through deco stops if necessary. I haven't had to really map a course with the digital compass yet, but I managed to calibrate it without any problem and while diving it got me back exactly to where I started when I was diving some dark, low visibility water. Point it at your desired bearing, press one button, and bang it digitally locks a green dot on that heading and conversely a red dot for a 180 heading. Underwater, maneuver until you find your green or red dot and there you go. If you got the money and want a console that does it all, does it in a way that's easy for any level diver to program or understand, and does it in a beautifully visual way, buy it! If you don't have the money, save up and buy it. Atomic makes some of the best gear available. My new T3 is on back order from Leisure Pro, so as soon as get it, I'll really see how great Atomic diving can be.

Comments about Atomic Cobalt Air/Nitrox Air Integrated Computer Console with 3D Digital Compass & Quick Disconnect Hose:

Does everything I expected. After numerous dives all works well.
Downloading updated software was fine except but seemed a little complicated.
Negatives: Hard to read out of the water in sunlight.
No way to increase font size as some of the information is a little to
      Small for my eyes.
Needs a better system to attach computer as computer will hang and
Trail behind you. Going to use an extender to keep close to me.

We purchased two and are very happy with. Battery life is amazing as I've only charged once so far. The colors and layout give you quick detailed information.

Comments about Atomic Cobalt Air/Nitrox Air Integrated Computer Console with 3D Digital Compass & Quick Disconnect Hose:

I am a dive instructor with 40 years diving experience and over the years I've owned a LOT of dive computers. Simply put, this is the best. Beautiful display which is not just skin deep. All the advanced features you would want including gas mix switchs but so easy to use and understand. This computer is several generations advanced from anything on the market.

On open water weekends I sometimes do 10 CESAs at a time - this computer takes care of me. In fact let a student use the computer and he can almost understand without instruction. I don't do this but the computer is that easy to use. This thing is so far advanced you would think aliens from a far smarter universe designed it! It is genius in it's simplicity and function. The other computer makers should just close the doors - really. If you have to: sell the car, teach more classes or ask granny for the money but get one of these things!
