About Aqua Sphere Kaiman Goggle, Black/Amber Lens

Aqua Sphere Kaiman Goggle, Amber Lens
The Aqua Sphere Kaiman Goggle, Amber Lens is a work of art in underwater visibility. Its superior design and styling make it a unique piece of eyewear. The gasket is made from Softeril, a soft and comfortable, synthetic, hypoallergenic material which ensures that the wearer need not worry about any skin reactions to the product. This material is long-lasting and retains shape quite well over time, thereby making the goggles a good one-time investment. Complete UVA and UVB protection? is provided by the amber lens which comes with scratch-resistant and anti-fog coatings. Plexisol, the material used to make the lens, allows better vision than glass. At the same time, it is lighter, more resilient, and impact-resistant than glass. An easy-adjust buckle system coupled with wide straps makes the goggles easy to wear. So the next time you want to take a dive in the pool, don't forget to wear the Aqua Sphere Kaiman Goggle, Amber Lens.

i haven't been swimming for awhile. avid mtn biker, but too hot this summer and access to a nice pool (and ocean) got me back in. last bike ride was hot and i wished i was in the pool. anyway, an old pair of goggles leaked so i went for a new pair. my kids had aqua sphere seal goggles when they were younger, so thought to give these a try. good reviews helped too. very comfy, light seal is all that is needed- no eyeball suction to maintain leakproof seal and very light raccoon eyes after a swim. i have both the amber (cloudy days) and smoke versions. would buy again, and with the sun factor here in socal, thinking of the mirrored version. some claim the leakproof lifespan of these may not be as long as some others, but the soft seal is worth it, especially at leisure pro prices. the only issue may be the nose strap is not adjustable. i have a prominent nose and it is a little tight- but not noticeable when swimming. the smoke color is not very dark (like sunglasses), so if you are an open water swimmer, or swim in the bright sun you might prefer looking to the mirrored version. also have long eyelashes and do notice touching the lens if i press the goggles tight. this is not needed, they are leakproof (so far) even with light pressure. the only other downside may be seeing how clean, or not, your pool is. fwiw- i swim approx 1 hr 4x a week and have used these with no issues for about a month or so now.
