lion fish collection bag

Have not used it yet, but it seems sturdy enough. The color is funky but easily recognizable for its prupose.

Nice safe way to carry lionfish

This bag seemed to big and bulky when I first received it. But after diving with it for two weeks and collecting 23 lionfish I love it. Because of its mesh construxtion it causes little drag while swimming. It also can double as a bag to carry all your gear including bcd and fins to the boat. Mostly the spines from the fish don't stick through, but if the fish slide around in the bag they sometimes do so be careful

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
DAWN B  safety when hunting lion fish
Joe B  Will this work as a lobster catch bag also?
DAVID S  I'm going to say probably but the bag is specifially made for Lionfish spines whereas you could get an inexpensive mesh bag for lobster. Hope this was helpful.
MATTHEW B  I have not used it for lobsters, but I think it would work. It prevents sharp spines from puncturing through. The bag was much bigger than I imagined and I found it a bit unwieldy during scuba diving. That said, I used it for lionfish and stonefish and never got stung.
DANIE T  Bag is more suited for very small lions. I think you would fight to get lobster into bag, holding one handle and struggling with lobster with other. I returned mine as it would not hold many lions. You might try it with Leisure Pros excellent return policy! Daniel
DARYL W  Hello, several friends and I have tested out the Lionfish catch bag and found that it is very puncture proof but it is difficult to strip the lionfish off the spear with the baffles built into the bag which are supposed to accomplish this. We believe that it will actually be a much better lobster bag. The baffles will help keep the bugs from escaping. Hope this is helpful.
LARRY H  It could; It does have a second barrier you would have to push the lobster through. It has a restrictor at the opening and about 10 inches down inside.
Kasia W  Yes, absolutely.
HARVEY M  Yes it could also be used as a catch bag for lobsters
