GETS THE JOB DONE

By DAVID B.

A SECURE WAY TO KEEP EQUIPMENT WITH YOU ON A DIVE. I ALWAYS ATTACH MY CAMERA.

We always need to attach more stuff to our equipment to free up our hands when we need them. Lanyards for lights, cameras, gauges, game bags, or maybe even a fish stringer when spear fishing. Having a few spare clips in your gear bag is a must for the serious diver. It's a snap! This coiled shock line expands to 36" (91.5cm). Simply unhook the latch with a squeeze of the fingers and the coil is released, offering up to 36" (91.5cm) of extension during use. Lanyard has corrosion resistant stainless-steel hardware with either spring loaded 360Degree swivel gate clips or carabiners. Coil Stretch Shock Line has stainless steel reinforcement for super strength, durability and is ideal for use with gauges & underwater photographic equipment. Coil Stretch Shock Line makes a great save-a-dive-kit item.

Questions about this item:

MANFRED J  Is the smaller clip on the "Carabineer to S.S. Clip" version big enough to hold an HP hose from a console?
JEREMY H  Yes, BUT the total length is about 12" clip-end to clip-end so your console is still going to be free hanging. Because you'd have to undo the plastic latch holding the two halves together to see your console anyway, I recommend something like the EZ Clip - Hose Holder. (http://www.leisurepro.com/Prod/AQUEHH.html?&&) It has a carabiner style clip that you can easily undo to take a look at your console, and the HP hose snaps into one of the clips on the end. It will keep your console close to your body and off the bottom.
EUGENE L  I've had no problems getting the Wire Re-Inforced Stretch Coil Shock Line around my HP hose. I am, however, using a MIFLEX hi-pressure hose which is remarkably thin. All I have connected to my HP hose is my SPG, so I used a length of marine bungee to wrap around the HP hose, and attached a small closed SS ring. This prevents the clip from sliding up and down the hose. Hope this helps.
MANFRED J  And aren't MIFLEX hoses the same as nylon braided hoses?
EUGENE L  Yup. I've only ever heard of MIFLEX and Phantom nylon braided hoses before... are there other brands out there that are good?
MANFRED J  Is phantom the brand? Its because I am buying an EDGE Epic Regulator and Octo and in the description it says "Nylon Braided Hoses"...But if there the same thing than thats good(:
EUGENE L  Yes. Phantom and MIFELX are brands. Might want to call up Leisure Pro and ask them for details about the hoses that are included with your reg.
MANFRED J  Will do although its actually not from LeisurePro but thanks for all the advice! (:
Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
JACK T  To secure a GoPro camera 'double handle tray' with two video lights to my D ring.
