The first thing I've noticed when I've opened the package was it was bulky. I was worried that it would be floating and make things hard for me. But once I've attached it to my BC and console I've dived it never blotched in the way the buoyancy was perfect so that it was always over my body. Was always struggling to re-attach the console to the hose holder and sometimes discovered it was free from the holder and swimming freely which is almost always caused it to hit a rock and get scratched. But it is no more. This product is a must for every diver.

Comments about Aqua Gear Keeper Scuba Console Snap Clip Locking Retractor:

This recractor is heavy duty and easily keeps your console exactly where you want it. A little bulkier than I thought it might be, but no real complaints. The snap clip is a really good feature as you can leave the recractor attached to your BCD and the small clip stays attached to your console. When ready to dive a quick click and you're set to go. Only 8 dives with it so far so not sure about the durability, but I see no reason why it shouldn't last for quite a long time.

            Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
JAMES H  I use this for my SPG console ... the tension is just right ... not I know on every dive EXACTLY where my SPG is 100% on the time. A bit bulky but very sturdy & well made.
Robert B  Does this stay extended until you "unlock" it, or is there constant tension on the line? I would like to use it for a GoPro, but don't want to "fight" it all the time.
RONALD V  constant tension. good for a computer/console, not so much for a camera. they have good safety lanyards for less, check one of those out!
Shopper  what model is right for a Gopro camera?
Michael C  If you want to connect your GoPro to a retractor, you can use any retractor. There is no one that is right for it, they will all work.
