Looks okay

Haven't tried this product yet, but it looks good. I have heard that they don't stay on the mask once they get wet. I will try an alternate glue that isn't water based.

Don't make this mistake

We tried these in our masks and found out the hard way that this is not the way to go if you need vision help in a mask. If you really can't see without aid just go ahead and get a prescription mask.

Corrective lenses for dive mask

By

from Highlands Ranch, CO, US

Theses lender do not stick. Have used alcohol to clean before applying glue an followed instructions to the letter. Usually can move them around in mask after a dive. Oh to have a really good mask selection with corrective lenses, readers.

Great!

Best set of cheaters yet. Applied to mask easily and hasn't moved from placement after 8 dives.

poor glue stability

By

from Terre Haute, IN, US

I was so hopeful that these reading lenses would help me while scuba diving. During the very first snorkeling swim the glue began to fail. The adhesive stayed gooey so I removed them for the next scuba dive two days later.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
LARRY L  I bought these for a clearer, bigger view of my computer. Unfortunately they didn't work well at all. Going to get a perscription mask and end the problem once and for all.
ALBERTO G  Because I use bifocal lens, and I hope they can help me to see better underwater
Ken W  How small are these readers? I want to put them in a Scubamax ARC micro mask and because they are glass, I can't cut them like the flexible suction type.
WALT B  NOT FAMILIAR WITH YOUR MASK. HOWEVER, MINE IS A PRETTY SMALL VOLUME, CRESSI AND THE LENSES FIT JUST FINE. THEY ARE SEMI-CIRCULAR, 1 1/2 " IN DIAMETER. HOPES THIS HELPS.
Ken W  Thank you for all the responses. I like the idea of grinding. I have some ultra fine disks that might work.
ADRIAN M  About 1 inch wide by 1/2 inch tall.
JAMES G  About the size of a quarter
JOHN G  I as able to grind them on a fine grit wheel to fit in a Cressi evotution mask , works well
JOHN M  Ken, I am out of the country for a week and do not have my mask with me , so I can not give you an exact measurement of the optics. I can tell you I have used different brands for over 15 years { I am an instructor]and I finally went to the glass optics so I could glue them in with epoxy. Several times not in a controlled space or bucket the stick ins fell out and got lost. They work perfectly in both my masks. Let me know if you have another question John
MURRAY A  I'm not familiar with your mask, but the optics are a little over an inch long and three quarters of an inch wide. Hope this helps.
Bernadette P  Are the sizes for - or + prescription? I need +2.25 for readers
DIANE T  We got +2.0 and they are great. They don't come off easily. My husband has one he uses for his left eye and it's been good for almost two years now. Great item!
PHILIP S  I use reading glasses. I actually bought the 1.5 when my reading glasses are 2.0. To compensated for the water magnifying effect. They work great. If you do multiple dives leave the mask in the sun in between dives to dry so they don't come loose.
MURRAY A  If you use +2.25 for readers, then I suggest you order the same magnification for the mask magnifiers.
WALT B  I AM PRETTY SURE LEISURE PRO SELLS BOTH THE + AND - LENSES. HOWEVER, YOU WANT A CORRECTION FOR READING YOUR COMPUTER OR CAMERA - CLOSE TO YOUR FACE. THIS IS PROBABLY DIFFERENT THAN WHAT YOU HAVE FOR READING MATTER OR YOUR CAR DASH- BOARD. YOU CAN CHECK THIS AT THE GLASSES RACK AT A WALMART OR DOLLAR GENERAL,
WAYNE P. S  +
JOHN G  They are + magnifiers, good quality and with the glue are the first ones that I have had that stay in. However I have a cressi evolution mask whos lense comes to a sharp taper at the bottom . I had to file down the sides of the magnifiers to get them to sit low enough in the mask.
CLARENCE J K  The designation on the stick-on lenses are generally in + diopters like reading glasses (cheaters) at the drug store. They make it easy to read your watch/computer/compass while you dive.
PHYLLIS C  No. Just like reading glasses you buy at drug store. Only these stick to mask, sunglasses etc.
