About Multi-Page Wrist Slate

Whether you are a new diver or a dive instructor, or anywhere in between, you always have the need to write something down underwater. For the new diver, it may be for asking questions later back on the boat or shore about why you felt something or what kind of marine life you encountered. For the photographer, it may be the camera settings used on specific shots you took for review later. For the instructor, the ability to write underwater may be necessary for an evaluation of a student's skills.

Whatever your need, this Multi-Page Wrist Slate is Curved to Fit-Comfortably on your Wrist, and is available in Standard and Glow-in-the-Dark Models. If you have been Night Diving or in a Low Light Situation (Wreck or Cave Penetration) and wanted to write something down you need 3-Hands, One for your Slate, One for the Pencil and a Third for the Dive Light. The Three-Pages give you more than enough Writing Space to get your Message-Across. Slate is equipped with a Velcro Strap for Mounting on the Wrist, and the Slate has a Pencil that is attached to a Coiled Lanyard and a Tube to Secure-Pencil when not in use.

As an instructor, I have used many of these. The benefit of this wrist slate is the pencil tube that the pencil slides into for storage. Others, have a pencil "catch" that breaks. However, the only down side to this slate is the orings that are used to flip the slates. I suspect they will stretch and tear in time like all orings. Overall, I recommend it compared to others on the market...Enjoy

Good little piece of gear to add to your bag. There is plenty of room for writing, as each layer can flip open to reveal more writing space; which works out great for multiple dives. Is easy to use and comes with some replacement parts in case the pencil wears out or the o-rings break. It is a little ungainly and I found that it slid enough to require a little adjustment, but tighten it down a little and it stays put pretty well. Overall a handy gadget if you need to record minor things, depths, PSI, even a quick note to your buddy.

Comments about Aqua Multi-Page Wrist Slate:

I really like this. As I dive, I make short notes.

    15m - 5' Nurse Shark
    32m - Sting Ray

I can also make notes of start/end air, and whatever. When I get back on board I can discuss what I saw w/others.

It can also help to communicate complicated messages w/other divers below.

Doesn't really fit well on my arm, guess I need to start working out or eating more. Still, I'm gonna take it on dives.

Comments about Aqua Multi-Page Wrist Slate:

I used this during my advanced certification dives and some fun dives. So far I have used it six times and I like it. After reading other reviews, I expected it to be big and it is. I was wearing a 7mm wet suit and it slid around on my arm. I don't use a wrist mounted computer so there was nothing to keep it from sliding down my arm. I may replace the strap with something tighter. I am not a big guy and have skinny arms so this will be horrible when used in anything smaller than 7mm or a dry suit. It is designed for a larger arm. It would be perfect if there was a version that was slightly smaller. In general, I do like it and found it to be useful. I also found it to be very easy to erase. I just used a plain rubber pencil eraser and everything came right off.

          STUART P  Good buy.
Shopper  What brand is it? Innovative?
ROBERT F  I don't recall the brand - who cares - its a wrist slate and it works for UW communication!
Shopper  Is this slate suitable for a petite woman's forearm/wrist? What are the dimensions of the slate that will wrap around(?) the forearm?
JAMES O  I have a very small wrist for a man and the slate works just fine. However I don't dive without a wetsuit or drysuit so my forearm is always covered prior to using the slate. I've never tried to use the slate without an exposure suit. Sorry I don't know the dimensions.
