Good function and fashion, so-so quality

By

Strap works very well at keeping mask in place when wearing hair in a ponytail. Easy to install and adjust. The only product of kind we have found. Strap does not pull or grip hair as standard straps do. Each strap averages about a two week Bonaire adventure trip, then begins to rip in the V seam. Works well enough that we consider this a disposable item and buy several at a time. Reasonable price to pay for the function.

Works well, does not pinch

By

Used by my wife. She claims these straps hold her mask in place well without pinching / pulling her hair. Our experience has been these have about a 30 to 40 dive lifespan. Then they start to fray and rip. overall, works well and is comfortable to use.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
Barbara M  This item was on my daughter's Elfster Wish List.
Loraine M  I love this strap. Perfect for long hair in ponytails. I don't put my ponytail through the split (because it interferes with removal of mask quickly) but the split keeps the mask strap from slipping down my head or riding up my head the way a single wide neoprene strap or cover would. Ponytail ball fits in-between the straps. Does not pull hair like silicone does!
joyce a  Looking for a better mask strap, reviews were good. Bought two because they are apparently low quality.
SHANNON A  If you have long hair and keep it pulled back in a pony tail, this is a must have. Even if you don't have long hair and don't wear a pony tail, this stays put and doesn't pull out your hair when you remove your mask.
JOANNE W  stays on better than the solid backed ones and is lighter.
Katrina C  Does this mask strap attach with velcro? I don't want the kind that attaches to the mask with velcro
ANTHONY L  No, it does not. It has buckles that you thread the strap through for adjustment. I found it to be a very nice strap. I have used several different styles and this is a very comfortable design. The split allows for a nice snug fit, that holds from top and bottom evenly. Definitely recommend; would buy again. Hope this helps.
RICHARD L  Honestly I dont know, bought it as a back-up on a dive trip in 2011 and never used it. Its been in the bottom of my dive bag ever since, sorry.
Frank L  This one uses a buckle system.
Shopper  How does this connect to the mask? I have a neoprene cover on my mask now, but it is still silicone where it connects to the mask and my hair gets pulled every time. Also, it says it has an attachment to hold the snorkel? I was considering the neoprene snorkel attacher you carry, but do I not need that?
LeisurePro S  This connects to the mask via the black strap--completely eliminates those nasty silicone straps! Yes, this has the integrated snorkel keep on the strap, so the neoprene snorkel keeper isn't necessary, but you can use it for added snorkel security.
