Does it come with the "Scuba Cap" mentioned in the reviews/or as the Glo-toob web site says"The Push Button cap is splashproof only. If you plan to submerge your Glo-Toob, always use the Waterproof cap. Remember that flooding with water is not covered by warranty."?

Thanks Steven, I ordered one of the new style AAA versions and will put some feedback about it after I dive it in a couple of weeks. It will be tested at 80' at our training lake in northern Alberta. It is dark and cold down there.
Thanks man, have a great day.
yes, it comes with the "scuba cap" as well as the push button cap.
I am sorry to say that I have not dove with this light yet. I purchased it for clear water diving. So far we have been in the dirty lakes and I use a neon strobe for that. The unit I received looks like the picture. I did not get any special cap. It is not a push button however. Once the cap is screwed on, then the little nub that the ring goes thru also screws down to turn on the light. I wish I could have been more helpful.
OK, thank you for the feedback, have a great day.
Be very careful with the Glo-Toob, it's very easy to flood it. If you still have to turn the top, it's prone to flooding if you turn too far.
Thanks for the feedback. Have a great day.
The ones I bought had the screw down connector and was used for scuba. I would give this thing a 5 for cool, 3.5 for ease of use and a 1 for durability. The failing point is the metal connections in the cap. The screw down connection failed on two after very few dives and despite my normal cleaning routine, all of them corroded within the first year. As a comparison, I have several dive lights that are 4 years old with no problems.
