Better than OEM.

These buckles are soild, well built replacements for OEM's that are thin and break. Put a few of these in your dive bag.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
TED B  To carry spares.
Shopper  will this work on Mares Avanti Quattro fins and will the strap already on the Mares Avanti Quattro fin fit this style of buckle. i am assuming the post that the buckle will fit on (i.e. snap in place on the fin) is some sort of standardized size?
B W  I have the Mares X-Stream, works fine on them. It's a standard size.
GARY S  not sure but they fit on my set of mares Avanti Quattro's
FRANK E  This is a universal buckle and fits most fins. Your current fin strap should work. I am unsure of the clip part but in my experience most clips should work but if not you can swap strap to that part of buckle. I always keep one or two in my bag as emergency repair item along with an extra strap.
Shopper  Will these buckles fit on Scubamax fins? Mine have a round post & the buckles have a round hole in the bottom to put the post through & then slide back to keep in place.
CAROL S  I bought an extra buckle to fit on my Dacor fins in case one that I have breaks. It is still in my save-a-dive bag. I'd recommend you contact Scubamax; that's what I did. This buckle does have a round post with a hole in the bottom for the post which is apparently screwed in place since I can see the place for the screwdriver head. I hope this was of some help.
JOHN R  Sounds like the same configuration I have. My fins are Mares with a round post. The Aqua Quick- Release worked great. I bought one set. I put one on the outside of each fin. Easy on and easy off. I guess you could spend the cash and put them on both sides, but hey you only unbuckle one side when you remove them.
