This is needed to lift the flag off of the dive float. Great to use near boat channels, secluded locations or far off shore. It works great on days when winds are down. I havent tried it on a windy day, yet, but I think it should hold up.
Being a safe diver is important more and more people are boating each year and there is increased watercraft traffic in our favorite dive sites. This Trident 48" (122cm) Inner Tube Flag Holder has curved bracket for easy attachment to a car tire inner tube. Holder comes equipped with rubber stoppers on the pole to eliminate flag slippage. Use of a car inner tube as a float gives extreme positive buoyancy, yet when deflated is easy to stow and transport. The 48" (122cm) pole allows flag to be highly visible from long distances for increased safety. Need an innertube? See SKU: AQUFD80). Don't forget the flag see SKU's AQUFD01 and AQUFD06.

What size flag would be recommended for this type of system ?

"I use the Economy Dive Flag 14" X 16" (DF06) with a wire stiffener. Works great and with the little clip that comes with this pole you can lock the flag down so it will not blow off. I use this on every beach dive as well as the Aqua Standard Float Cover with Mesh Bottom (DF90) which is great for a few extra weights and anti-fog."

Thanks, That's the size that I have decided to go with.

I used a 2 ft by 3ft flag but mounted it with two poles hanging vertical.
Worked well. Probably would have worked with only one as well.

I used a 24"X24" flag on mine.
