The perfect bag for my needs. Well made and well designed. I have purchased other bags they were cheaply made. I love the pocket that holds my mask. It keeps it from getting scratched and damaged. I plan to buy more of these bags because my family loves it too. It is perfect for storing gear and transporting from place to place.

Comments about Akona Snorkeling Bag New:

Good product, and I recommend it.

This bag holds a full set of snorkel gear: my Atomic split fins, snorkel, mask (the mask pocket is large enough to hold my mask INSIDE its hard shell case my Atomic frameless came with --> love that), boots, microfiber towel, and bottle of defog. Unlike some competitors' snorkel bags, this one does not have a dry pocket, but I knew that before I purchased - not a deal breaker for me.

Comments about Akona Snorkeling Bag New:

I am a big cruiser so space is limited. This makes it easier to pack into my suitcase, take on a snorkeling excursion, dry it and walk around the town with the single shoulder strap. It's non-obtrusive and I have plenty of room for my snorkeling items, including rash guard, towel, wallet and a bottle of water; on top of my equipment.

Comments about Akona Snorkeling Bag New:

The bag works perfectly for what I do. I have large split fins that fit with no problem, as does my mask/snorkel. The front velcro pocket holds my camera with waterproof housing.

I had only one issue with this bag, where the inside lining on the outside pocket pulled away from the stitching. I contacted Leisure Pro, sent the unit in under the 2 year warranty, and they sent me a new bag. I couldn't be happier.

            Questions about this item:

Jonathon K  hello, will this hold large oceanic vortex v12?
THOMAS L  Hi, I use this bag to carry my Scubapro Jet Fin Max with the spring straps (more rigid than regular straps) and they fit fine. You can go to your local dive shop to compare your fins to mine.
peggy t  Is the bag durable enough to check on an airplane? I'm looking for airline luggage for snorkel gear that I can send as checked luggage, not carryon.
ANTHONY M  By checking, you mean as luggage, not carry-on. Yes, it is certainly strong enough, but it is a soft bag...with that said, I would not leave the mask in the compartment; too easy to lose or get broken (mine is prescription so having broken lenses would greatly diminish my snorkeling expereince). I carry, fins, snorkel, a thin wet suit top and my safety vest inside...none of which can be broken by handlers.
Jody s  is the reference of the mask compartment on the medium bag or small? can i get exact dimensions on the medium mask compartment? thanks for your help
SHAWN S  I will have to get back to you on the exact dimensions of the compartment. But I can tell you that I have a big eye mask and it fits fine.
