I wanted it because I'm 63 years old and wanted to slalom again for the first time in many years. It's easier to put the slalom ski in the V of the two handles to get up. YES, I got up on my 2nd try!

What is the distance from the handles to the yoke? Can you rest the tip of your ski in the yoke while in the water--so that when being pulled up the ski will remain straight--and then when you're nearly up you can raise the yoke off the ski tip?

Thanks for the helpful information, Phil. Way to go!

I have used the double handle ski rope successfully a few times and like it very much. I don’t know the distance from the handles to the yoke, you should have than information available. I do not rest the tip of the ski in the yoke, but I do use the two ropes around my ski while holding the ski straight. The key for me is to not to try to pull up too soon.
Incidentally, I am a long time skier, now weighing almost 200 lbs, am almost 6 ft tall, and am 76 years old. Pulling up with the rope tied to a wake board tower seems to help also.

Thanks, Sara! That's exactly what I wanted to know.

I have only used ours once. I would guesstimate the distance is about 3 or 4 feet it was plenty of room for me to rest the ski in the yolk while in the water and be pulled straight up. From what I can tell it is a good replacement for our 20 year old ropes that I starting skiing with were starting to fall apart. The only downfall is that there is not a float near the yolk so the handles kinda sink more than I am use to.
