Where do you plug it into your Dive computer?
I am very happy to help if I can. I have an Atmos 2 dive computer and interface connector. I very much like that I am able to download and store important dive information into my computer quickly and accurately. When looking at the front of the dive computer, right side up, you can find a rectangular opening on the LEFT side of the dive computer housing. It is about a 1/2" wide and about 1/4" tall. It has what looks like 3 metal prongs on the inside of the opening. That is where you can attach the LARGE end of your interface cable. It snaps right into place. I hope this was helpful and I hope you enjoy your new toy.
There should be a data port on the left side of your dive computer ... that's where you'd plug it in. Plug in the USB to a port on your computer first ... then you'll get screens to guide you. Did you look at Aeris' site?
I have the Ai. Just below the place where the compass is attached on the right side of the computer as you look down, there is an indentation or hole where the cord plugs in. It is the only place the cord can be attached. If you send me an email address, I will take a picture and send it on. Very simple and works great. Both my wife and I have the same computer and we both would have nothing else.
For the Atmos AI if you look at the computer face, there is a port on the upper right corner side. Make sure you have the latest version of the software from Aeris.
There are three metallic connections on the left side of the computer (at 9 o'clock near the back). These match up with the plug. It sort of slips in rather than actually being inserted into the side.
On the Aeris Amtos Elite, it plugs into the left side of the wrist computer. The plastic retaining clips on the plug hold the contacts against the waterproof contacts on the computer.
