Comments about Aeris EX 100 Jacket Style BCD with QLR Weight Pockets, Black:

I have tried/dove MANY different BCD's, but when our asst. instructor Tommy let me use his Aeris EX 100 BCD, I fell in love and had to buy one of my own! It is so comfortable to wear and use. The bladder allows a better attitude when on the surface, and it has two huge pockets! I love my Aeris BCD. I am sorry they have been bought out by Oceanic(?). The order was fast and was Very well packaged! Thank you Leisure Pro!

Comments about Aeris EX 100 Jacket Style BCD with QLR Weight Pockets, Black:

I've done around 30 dives with this BCD and I love it. Whether your diving the Caribbean or diving a lake like Dutch Springs, it gets the job done. It has tons of lift, huge pockets and is pretty comfortable.

I've used it with a 2mm, 4mm and 7mm suit. It folds up decently for traveling. It uses a plastic buckle on the tank strap which I prefer. Nothing worse then catching your finger in the metal strap. The trim pockets hold a max of 5lb each

Things it could use: Metal d rings and d rings on both straps, bigger dump valve knobs (with 5mm gloves good luck), grommets to attach a knife, thicker shoulder straps and a little more padding on the back.

Comments about Aeris EX 100 Jacket Style BCD with QLR Weight Pockets, Black:

Extra small and small very close in size. I'm 5'2", 108#. Hard decision, but went with the extra small. Small wouldn't have cinched tightly enough around the waist and BC would have ridden up on the shoulders when inflated. Only downside is extra, zippered pockets are extremely difficult to reach. Like the trim pockets in the back. For the money, a good buy.

Comments about Aeris EX 100 Jacket Style BCD with QLR Weight Pockets, Black:

Good product and I am fussy. Has all the things I was looking for in a BCD. Only thing needed to fix is the velcro closure on rear trim pockets... need positive locking closure. Also, crotch strap goes a long way to improving fit and function. Durable enough for me for New England diving and light enough for travel to warm water destinations. Can't be beat for the price if you need a BC that can do it all.

I purchased this BCD on a recommendation of Scuba Pro online chat. They hit the nail on the head. The vest fit and worked perfectly. It was comfortable, the weight pockets were large enough to allow for ample weight for my size. Just used it in the Florida Keys. I would recommend this to anyone.

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
        ANTHONY C  Love this BCD
Shopper  How easy is it to load a full weight pocket wearing the bcd while standing? How easy is it to remove the pockets with heavy 6 mil gloves?
WILLIAM W  It's damn near impossible. Removal is easier, but I'd practice before doing anything major, if you think you might have to dump them in a hurry.
stephen c  will this vest except a power inflator?
PETER A O  This BCD hooks up to the low pressure hose on your octopus. I do not know what a power inflator is.
