Comments about Aeris Elite Hoseless Wrist Computer & Transmitter:

Best dive computer I have ever owned. Has never lost signal. I have had several wireless computers, SUUNTO, SCUBA PRO AND AERIS. AERIS IS BY FAR THE BEST AND MOST RELIABLE. FOLLOWED BY SCUBA PRO. I HAD SEVERAL DIVES WITH SUUNTO WHERE I LOST AIR PRESSURE READINGS. NOT A GOOD THING WHEN YOUR DOWN DEEP,

Comments about Aeris Elite Hoseless Wrist Computer & Transmitter:

I've been using the Aeris Elite since 2007 (about 50 individual dives), and have had no issues. If I had to replace it, I'd certainly buy another. Be sure to purchase the clear face covers to keep the unit from getting scratched up. Very durable, extremely reliable. I selected the Aeris Elite because it had all of the features I needed, and had a good user interface. I evaluated the literature on about a dozen dive computers, and the clear winner for me was the Aeris Elite.

Comments about Aeris Elite Hoseless Wrist Computer & Transmitter:

Used this unit in Aruba, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman. The only thing I would add that others have not mentioned is that I have not figured out how to check my tank pressure BEFORE I enter the water. Readings out of the water do not seem to show air quantity. This can be a minus on excursion dive trips with charter tanks. Often these are well below 3000 PSI. In every other way, I am very happy with this unit and pair it with a Citizen Duplex for backup depth readings.

          Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
CHARYN M  I wanted a dive computer and this one was reasonably priced and came with a transmitter. I've had it for over a year and am very pleased with it's performance.
Shopper  Does this work well enough to replace a pressure hose? or is it better to keep it as a backup in case batteries go down during a dive?
RICHARD M  Two is better than one, especially when it comes to Scuba Diving. Never ever eliminate your high pressure hose. The computer should be your backup, not your SPG.
d m  Does this computer have a free diving mode?
ANDREW D  Yes it does it's called gauge mode. It just acts like a gauge cluster giving you depth temp time ect.
