About Aeris Biojac BCD

Aeris Biojac Jacket Style BCD is a perfect Fit, for Any Body! Nowhere is this more important than with BC's, where comfort and freedom of movement must be balanced against function and durability. Responding to this challenge Aeris engineers created BioFlex - a unique "living fabric" that stretches, flexes and conforms to the body.

BioFlex is an extraordinary fabric, which stretches, fully inflated up to 30% over conventional nylon or polyurethane BC materials. The idea being, that if a material could stretch while remaining airtight, you could make smaller air cells, creating less bulk and drag underwater while achieving high volumes of lift when required on the surface. BioFlex eliminates chest squeeze, conforms to the diver's body and provides a slim, body-hugging profile.

The Aeris Biojac BCD has a Rolled Neoprene Neck Collar for Exceptional Comfort even when not wearing an exposure suit, The Torso Adjustment Straps, Adjustable Depth Compensating Cummerbund, Dual Adjustment Sternum Strap with Dual Positioning and Padded Back-Plate with Extended Lumbar Support to Transfer Tank Weight onto the Hips, Relieving Stress on the Shoulders, all make for a Comfortable and Custom Fit.

BCD comes with a Rubberized Padded Carry Handle located on the Back-Plate for easy lifting of BCD/Cylinder Assembly. The location of the Handle allows easier lifting compared to BCD with a Handle on the upper neck area, allowing better balance when moving the cylinder/BCD Assembly and aiding a diver Donning or Doffing the Rig. There is also a Tank Positioning Strap for proper adjustment of cylinder height when exchanging cylinders for repetitive dives.

Buoyancy Control and Trim while diving is easy with the Aeris versatile power inflator equipped with a Internal Pull Dump Cable attached to an Overpressure/Dump Valve. Two Additional Overpressure/Dump Valves, one located on the Right Shoulder with a Pull Dump Cord and another on the Lower Right Rear with Pull Dump Cord allows easy trimming of Buoyancy regardless of your diving position.

BCD also comes equipped with Aeris Integrated Weight System that accommodates up to 20 lbs (9.72 kg) plus Dual 5 lbs (2.3 kg) Trim Weight Pouches on the back for improved in-water positioning. Need to carry and stow stuff when you go diving? The Biojac BCD has Multiple D-Rings Attachment Points, Knife Mount Grommets for Optional Knife, Retractor Mount and 2 Large Zippered Pockets one on each side. BCD is available in 6 Sizes from X-Small to 2X-Large with Lift Capacities from 27 to 60 lbs (12.25 to 27.2 kg). BCD comes with a Low-Pressure Inflator Hose; Comprehensive Owner's Manual and is covered by Aeris 2 Year Limited Warranty.
Due to MFG restrictions, this can be sold to the USA and Caribbean only.

The Aeris Biojac BCD is commonly used for Cold Water, Recreation, Warm Water and more. The Aeris Biojac BCD is most used by customers who consider themselves to be a Beginner, Casual/ Recreational, Professional among others. The Aeris Biojac BCD is popular because customers like the following qualities of the Aeris Biojac BCD: Comfortable, Durable, Easily Adjustable, Lots Of Features.

          Comments about Aeris Biojac BCD:

As a big guy (6'2", 300lbs) it is often hard to find anything that fits well.

This XXL BCD makes the cut though. I have not had it in the water yet to judge it's performance, but I am very pleased with it's fit just trying it on at home. There is ample adjustment to all the straps making it much easier to wear than models I used during training.

              Comments about Aeris Biojac BCD:

I will use this BCD for vacation diving, seems to fold up pretty well for packing. It has all the features I was looking for: integrated weights that lock in place, quick release shoulder straps, and doesn't restrict arm movement. The cummerbund seems to be a bit short, it does fit me but I better not gain too much weight or it won't fit around my belly.

                Comments about Aeris Biojac BCD:

After reading the reviews about it running small I ordered an XL. I wish I had stayed with a large, but it does adjust fairly well, and I'm happy with it. I do wish the loops were lower on the vest and the bottom ones were closer to the front.

Shopper  how much does this weigh?
SHAWN M  It is NOT lightweight because of the weight holders--my XL isprobably 9-10lbs
Shopper  My husband is between a Md and a Lg....5'7", 200#, 42" chest...but his last Sherwood BC was a medium and fit well. What do you think I should do for this BC?
PAUL R  I'd go with at least a large. Maybe even an extra large especially if he does any diving with a wet suit. This BCD fits good and can be adjusted easily, Hope this helps.
