About Aeris A100 Wrist Computer

The A100 is a solid basic computer designed for air or nitrox mixes. It displays only essential information during the dive in easy-to-read digits. The A100 uses color-coded bar graphs to present nitrogen loading and ascent rate. The A100 offers useful features like an automatic safety stop countdown timer. The Computer is powered by AERIS' Dual Algorithm allowing you to choose the decompression algorithm that best suits your diving needs without compromising safety. Pelagic DSAT Based on DSAT (POWELL / SPENCER) data consisting primarily of No Deco, multilevel, repetitive dives at sea level Pelagic Z+ Based on BUHLMANN ZHL-16C data consisting primarily of repetitive Deco dives at altitude. This dual Algorithm provides the ability to choose a liberal (DSAT) or conservative (Z+) algorithm for repetitive recreational diving. It also provides an appropriate algorithm (Z+) for repetitive deep and planned deco diving and provides the ability to adjust to more closely match a buddy's profile.

Computer has a user replaceable CR2450 Lithium Battery, has a 12 dive on-unit log book, is water or manually activated and has a memory reset function which is useful for rental or training applications. The Aeris A100 Computer can be used for Air or Single Nitrox Mix to 50% 02, has a Safety Stop Countdown Timer Function and a Single Button Access to "Last Dive" Display (max depth & bottom time). Comments about Aeris A100 Wrist Computer:

I have recently purchased the Aeris A100 console unit. I was disappointed with it. It ONLY gives you a bottom timer. Does not show you actual Bottom time, does not have a watch to record start and end times in log, does not record water temp for log and does not have audible alarm on the assent rate meter. Unit was inexpensive upgrade when I purchased new reg set and gauge.

I will be keeping it and using it as backup computer and adding wrist mount computer. During accent it is too much to hold on to your power inflator and gauge with left hand. Wrist mount would be easier to watch accent meter while surfacing.

Comments about Aeris A100 Wrist Computer:

The pre & post dive functions are all simple to read and use. The Dive Mode is simple but requires a little thought - on AIR you can switch btw "currrent depth/dive time remaining" and "max depth/actual dive time". Since this is NOT air integrated, I would have thought the display should be "current depth & actual dive time" - but it's easy enough to figure out.

Also, beware that this computer Does Not have a backlight.

Would serve as a great backup or entry level computer. I bought as entry level for a multi-day dive trip so I could easily track N-loading on multi-level dives.

Can be used for Nitrox, but I used for Air.

Questions & Answers Powered by TurnTo®

          Questions about this item:

craig s  Can this computer be used in gauge mode? (depth and bottom timer)
SUZANNE S  No, the A100 cannot be used in GAUGE mode. If you are looking for an AERIS computer that can, the A300 does have that function, used for free dive / snorkeling. Hope this helps.
Shopper  can this computer be used for deco diving?
Ben T  The computer is not designed for planned decompression. However in the event of an emergency, the computer will guide you to the proper Deco/safety stop(s) to avoid the bends.
Shopper  Does this computer have a backlit display?
Jimmy e  I cant get the backlight to come on. Weewere doing a spring dive at 105 feet and had to use our lights to see the computer display. If I would have known this didn't have a lite display I wouldn't have bought it.
