The XS2/AC2 Regulator is a dependable non-balanced flow-by-piston designed 1'st stage regulator that is a great choice as a new diver's rig, or for use as a stage bottle regulator system. The 1'st stage has 1 HP port and 4 LP ports and is made from marine grade chromed brass for long life and durability. A conical filter is used which has greater surface area for higher air flow characteristics through the 1'st stage regulator.

The XS2 Compact 2'nd stage housing is made of durable non-corrosive hi-tech polymers & has a dependable downstream demand valve mechanism. The flow of air is channeled to the mouthpiece by injection, creating a venturi effect enhancing the performance. The 2'nd stage comes w/a flow deviator that acts on the Venturi effect, w/dive/pre-dive adjustment function. Regulator comes w/a comfortable silicone mouthpiece. The XS2 Compact AC2 Regulator weighs 35 oz. (994 g) w/hose & comes w/an owner's manual. Regulator is certified to EN250/2000 standards and is made in Italy.

The XS Octopus is a lightweight, high performance 2'nd stage regulator. The XS has a Venturi dive/pre-dive switch which will help control the sensitivity of the regulator when not in use, yet when switched from the pre-dive to dive position the regulators performance will instantly increase. The XS Octopus has a dependable downstream demand valve mechanism for reliable performance. The XS Octopus is equipped w/a 33" (84cm) 3/8" threaded hose, and yellow front cover for easy identification in an out-of-air-emergency. The regulator has a soft & comfortable liquid silicone mouthpiece & the housing is made of durable impact resistant hi-tech polymers. The regulator weighs 7.27 oz. (206 g) w/o hose & 12.7 oz. (359 g) w/hose. Regulator is certified to Annex B EN 250.2014 standards.

The Cressi Mini-Manometer Pressure Gauge luminescent dial reads from 0 to 5000 psi. For at-a-glance monitoring of air pressure. Instruments face is divided into three different colored zones: 600 psi & below highlighted in red w/a solid bar & red stripes. If gauge is used on deeper dives, red scale extends & fades to 1,300 psi, this provides for added reserve air indication required at greater depths. From 600 to approx. 3,000 psi is green & from 3,000 to end of scale is blue.

The front glass lens is made to act as a pressure relief valve. In event of a sudden increase in pressure inside the instrument, the glass rises slightly, allowing the excess pressure to escape. The instrument is housed in a small, modern shaped boot, made from polycarbonate & Desmopan, (thermoplastic polyurethane) two materials that guarantee protection from shocks, scratches & which, at the same time, is very lightweight. The pressure gauge housing is durable chrome plated brass. The gauge boot has an attachment point for a clip or lanyard. Pressure gauge is equipped w/a 7/16" threaded high-pressure hose. Regulators and gauge are made in Italy.

The Puck Pro Wrist Computer uses Mares-Wienke RGBM (Reduced Gradient Bubbles Model) Algorithm. The RGBM uses micro-bubbles to prevent their formation. In over 10,000 real dives monitored by Dr. Bruce Wienke in the Los Alamos laboratories, the formation of micro-bubbles has been studied & evaluated to better understand the mechanism behind how micro-bubbles are formed during a dive. Today it is the most evolved algorithm for reducing the formation of micro-bubbles w/o compromising dive times.

The easy excess push button allows the diver to operate the computer in all conditions, even when wearing thick gloves. Navigating thru-the-computer programs is extremely simple & intuitive. There are 3-special function modes of air, nitrox & bottom time. The computer has a maximum depth display of 492' (150m), memory capacity of 36-hours, runs on a user-replaceable 3-volt CR2450 lithium-ion battery, power indicator, & back lighting for low light conditions. Computer also has a plan mode display, can be used in both imperial or metric units, fresh or seawater settings, residual nitrogen reset, option to exclude audible alarms & uncontrolled ascents, has an ascent rate indicator & is altitude adjustable to 12,100' (3,700m). The Puck Pro also has a watch, stopwatch, date & temperature functions, & the quartz clock movement can be set in a 12 or 24-hour format. The Puck has an optional USB interface for logging dives on your PC, (see SKU: MRSPCDL2) PC interface, and logbook function that includes dive profile graphs at 5-second sampling rate.

The computer knows that not all of us who dive are young & in peak condition, it address this w/precautionary program settings that allow individual adjustment to more conservative dive profiles if needed. When making multi-level, multiple dives during a single day or multiple dives over several days you can choose different setting levels to adjust your computer to a more conservative dive profile.

To offer an easy-to-read display Mares produced a wide computer mineral glass display, w/intense backlighting & high contrast. The computer featuring illuminated, oversized digits w/special attention paid to maximize the viewing angle, to eliminate angular distortion & to always grant the best readability. The computer comes w/a durable rubber wrist strap.

Designed as a rental BC for resorts & dive schools, the Start Pro gives students & divers the stability of a jacket style BC & convenience of weight integration. Dive operators will appreciate its bullet-proof construction using 1000/500 Denier Cordura & large, easily seen size markings on shoulder. Integrated gravity type weight pockets use rugged quick-release buckles for easy ditching of weight in an emergency & can hold up to 20 lbs. (9 kg) of soft or hard block lead weights. BC has 2-large cargo pockets w/hook & loop closures & D-rings for accessory storage & attachment. A rigid padded backpack & carry handle provide stability & ease of transport.

Buoyancy control is made easy w/3-exhaust valves & Cressi's Power Inflator that comes standard w/3/8" threaded low pressure quick-disconnect hose. With 2-over pressure relief/dump valves located on the left & right shoulders & a 3'rd lower valve on rear right of air cell. All 3 can be manually dumped 2 with pull cords & the other w/power inflator mechanism. Adjusting BCD to size is facilitated by the torso adjustable shoulders, sternum & waist straps. Straps are equipped w/squeeze-style side-release buckles for quick & easy donning/doffing. The Start Pro BC provides lift capacities of 29.2 lbs. to 45 lbs. (13.25 kg to 20.14 kg) depending on size. BCD has a single cam cylinder band and comes w/an owner's manual.
