Dendol D does it require backplate? is it stable enough above the surface?
PATRICK N No it doesn't need a backplate.works good for me, it's very lightweight ,feels like you are not using a Bcd.didn't have any problem above the surface.. Just make sure you pick the right size because I'm size small with the Zeagle but medium on all other bcds..Overall, I would recommend it...
GEORGINA M I just came back from a dive trip and used my Zeagle Wicked Lite for the first time. I found the BCD very comfortable while diving and while at the surface. In my opinion it does not require a backplate and I found it stable enough above the surface. We had relatively calm surface conditions but I am confident it would still be okay in rougher seas. I got several compliments on my BCD from other divers at the dive resort and people were wanting to try it on. It's a great lightweight travel BCD! I look forward to diving with it again soon.
CHRISTIAN H No backplate included or required - very comfortable with a standard tank (but wear the tank a couple inches lower than on a best rig for better trim). I found it very stable on surface, although a little less than a vest. If you thought you'd be on the surface fOr 20 minutes, you might want a snorkel. But I sort of roll to float face up with the wings under me. Love it - feels very free and easy.
