I have owned a few BC's over the years and the the Stiletto is by far the best. It is lightweight, durable and comfortable in the water. I took this BC to my dive trip in the Bahama's and proved to be very easy to pack and haul.

This was my first BCD. I researched a lot on the web wanting something that was easy to travel with and was back inflatable without sacrificing any features...

Most reviews of any products I looked at were always very positive - I guess everyone who purchases something feels good about their purchase right? So I guess if I purchased a different BCD I would be extolling the virtues of that product instead.

What made me decide upon the Stiletto over other similar products? Well I guess the main points were:

1) Number of exhaust valves - one at each corner
2) Weight dumping system for front and rear weights.

I have just come back from completing my advanced course in Sabah, Malaysia. BCD performed as expected - I found very easy to get neutral boyancy and hover above the reefs. The Exhaust valves were brilliant and made it very easy to dump air no matter what my orientation. Luckily I didn't have to dump any weights (surprise, surprise) so I don't know how that works.

The only negative is the pocket size, which whilst they can store all sorts of things including dive signal tube, compass, etc. however they cannot store the A5 pastic cards that PADI give you for the advanced course...

This BCD I had to buy without getting to handle one in person first.

This thing is amazing, easy to clean, easy to use and absoluty a joy to use under water. Going from a jacket style to this is like going from a pinto to a corvette.

I had all kinds of problems with my buancy, and control. After this BCD came into my life they litterally all went away on the first dive! I can now float inverted if I so choose, roll over on my back and look up etc. None of these things I could do with anyother BC.

Its like underwater freedom in a box and its made in the USA.

The pockets are just a hair small for my taste and I wish it came with the fantastic Zeagle zip mount SMB pouch installed.

The weight system is simple,and dead reliable.

Get it and you will not be disappointed.

Never saw it in a shop before buying, only on the internet. I was not dissapointed at all, great BCD, huge improvement over the typical Mares vest-style BCD's I would normally rent.
