Shopper Are these for scuba diving or snorkeling?
ARTHUR B I have had great luck, I am a casual diver & HAVE TAKEN TO Cozumel twice. Packs great. Not as responsive as some but easier to pack with no failures.
CHAD F I have done some diving with them. I would not use them in a swift current, or for any long distance swimming, but I really like them for wreck penetration diving. Very comfortable fit, and can't beat them for travel.
BUSTER U Yes.....they are great for travel. Not the most powerful fin, but just fine for most recreational dives.
CAROL S My husband uses them for scuba diving. He has over 100 dives with them and feels they are easier on his ankles, but the trade off is they are more flexible than traditional fins which cuts down on propulsion speed through the water. According to him, they could stand to be a little stiffer, but other than that they are his fin of choice when we are flying to a dive destination due to their packability.
JEFF K While convenient travel fins, I would not recommend these for serious divers. They don't fit quite snug enough to combat any kind of current. Best for recreational snorkeling.
ROBERT W They can be used for both. As long as you are not fighting current they are good. The size and weight are great for traveling,
ARTHUR R I use these for both SCUBA and snorkeling. They are light, compact, and fit into my carry-on when not taking the rest of my gear. Since most of my travels require carry-on only I can only take fins, mask, & snorkel (renting the rest of the gear) this fins are perfect. My older pair of fins are US Diver Blades, the Zeagle EZ?s are much smaller so it does take a few more kicks but other than that these are my favorite fins.
Thomas G Strictly snorkeling. Not sufficient for scuba diving especially if you get caught in a ripping current. We use them on Kona at the snorkeling park next to the Outrigger Hotel.
BONITA O we do not scuba dive. they were great for snorkeling
DANIEL P They work great for both and travel *really* well since you can pack them flat and they are very light. For extended use you might want to consider booties or socks, but for 2 or 3 hours a day I did fine in bare feet. The soles are quite sturdy so you can stand on broken coral bits, a sharp rocks but the back of your heels are unprotected.
HARLEY M I own a pair and do not consider them useful for snorkeling. I use them for reef diving. They are extremely comfortable. Not made for speed, but for leisurely diving a shallow (30'-50') reef taking pictures they are perfect.
LEWIS H I use these for both snorkeling and scuba. Very comfortable fins that can be worn with or without boots. Easy to pack, I often use these as my default "go to" fins.
