This piece is stamped Highland Scuba, which I guess is produced by XS Scuba. Just holding it in my hand it feels very solid and looks well-made. I bought 2 of these for my modern Worthington HP100's with Thermo 230bar valves. Screws in with no effort and snugs down nicely, but shows about 1/2" of threads when fully inserted.

High quality, durable, heavy. Great for keeping air in, water out, and protecting the valve in case of a mishap. A wrench is NOT needed to get them tight enough to keep the air in - I tried it out!Although if it turns on, you'll need the wrench to get it off.

Nothing sucks more than getting to the dive site gearing up only to find out that the [$]Trimix fill has leaked out because the valve got bumped open during transport!
