Is this compatible with the Aeris Contour?
BILL S Will work fine if you have port space. I like how it stays out of the way but is a little hard for breathing good thing its only for Emergency
CLARK M Ok, I'll admit it, I'm a bit obsesive about scuba regs. I have maybe 10 to 12 regulator sets - 1st stage, 2nd stage and all of them have an XS Alt Air octo. For me the frustration with other octos is keeping them attached. If you need it, it won't be much help if you have to search fo it. The XS stays attached with the little clippy thing. I've added the XS octo to several different brands and models. I even have a spare, never used, still in the box, just waiting for my next acquisition. I see no reason why it wouldn't work well with any outfit.
CHRIS M I am not sure but we have bought two of these over the past yer and we like them. The clip sometimes lets go on giant stride entrys but it is easy to reach around and just reclip it in the handy holder and it is out of your way. We also like them becuase you can breath in them right side up or down. They work either way.
JIM S The XS SCUBA Alt Air is a good quality octopus. I have been pleased by the performance of this device. When researching octopus there were three components that were important to me. The first was high visibility, seconded, close fitting with a quick release buckle, and third, quality product. In addition the price was not bad.
The XS SCUBA Alt Air Octopus has served me well on eight dives so far. For an alt air source it comfortable to use.
DAN A Areis Contour BC? Yes of course. Might want to get a clip to hold the Alt air source right where you know it will be at all times. Just hang it off the "D" ring on the vest.
MICHAEL J The XS Scuba Alt Air should function with any regulator with an extra low preasure port.
CHRISTOPHER J I don't see why it wouldn't be compatable. The attaching clip hooks onto one of the D-rings. Just make sure you have your dive shop check it under pressure before you dive with it. Mine was not adjusted properly on my first dive with it, causing it to leak underwater, emptying my tank a lot faster, which lead to me having to ascend with my buddy's octopus.
NED S It worked fine with my Aeris primary
TIM N I believe they are standard threads. When I purchased mine I had no compatibility issues with my scuba pro reg. Not familiar however withaeris contour.
EILEEN J I used mine on an Oceanic 1st stage regulator. I assume it is compatible with most regs. I do like the clip feature because it never falls out.
MARIO D Yes, it should work just fine with that BCD. You may need a quick connect buckle to secure it.
