CAROLYN K The XS Scuba M-Line Duo fits a small face better than the V 3. The V 3 is larger than the Duo but is still probably smaller than the average mask. PS: the Q/Cue strap is great. I like the purge valve but it makes the mask less durable because the mask tends to tear near the edge of the purge valve (been thru two masks so far). Scuba Pro purge valve is designed a little better, but I like the M-Line masks and strap enough to be willing to replace my mask every year or two.

JUAN F It didn't work for me. It leaked. It has such a large volume that it is difficult to adjust. I used it twice and haven't since.

RENNIE W I have a skinny face and this mask fits me great. This is the best mask I ever used and I love the way the strap adjusts.

ALLEN F B All masks should be tried on before purchasing. In this case this mask will not work for you as it is for bigger faces and especially bigger noses! I have used this style mask for over 10 years purchasing three in that time frame. I live on a sailboat in the Caribbean and the mask is used almost daily. The only problem I have is that the plastic pieces on the auto-purge valve are fragile and disconnect. XS has sent me the parts to repair with my paying postage only.

WALTER R The mask works great for small faces. My wife has been using this mask for the last four years. The robber is very soft and fits really well around any face. We've tried a lot of masks through past ten years and this one is the winner.

RENNIE W I would call it a low volume mask. The purge valve does not seem to add and bulk. The best feature of this mask is the strap adjustment system, it is the best I have ever used. I would recommend this mask.

NICHOLAS G Yes, it is a high volume mask, not the highest but probably amongst the highest without a full face mask. The purge is not obstrusive and in general has been quite reliable in my mask. Even when they do wear down (as happened with my wife's 10 year old version of this mask from another manufacturer, they are quite easy to replace (at little rubber seal/stem may wear down/break off). This mask has actually been around between XS scuba and the company that originally made the molds for over 10 years now and I would have no other with my hard-to-fit squat face. BTW, at most the purge causes the nose piece to hang down maybe less than a centimeter down? I feel claustrophobic in small volume masks so highly recommend it if this is a concern. -I will warn you, though, that will large masks like this without black skirts there is a small amount of glare (inherent to many clear skirts/masks with windows when you are in intense side lighting, but again it is the farthest thing from a dealbreaker. I do not notice it and know for a fact I am not the only one who has not had a problem with it. Overall, this was one of a select few masks that I have found that seem to have massive lasting power

MICHAEL F It is a higher volume mask. I don't consider it bulky. It is larger than a low volume mask. I use this mask because of the purge. I normally have a camera in my hands during a dive. The purge allows me to quickly drain the mask with either no hands or just one. I also like the fact that it uses one piece of glass which is easier for me with using my camera and setting up the shots. The section of the mask under the nose is harder than a mask without a purge. I do find after diving a week of diving (3 - 5 dives a day) that the area under my nose get sore. The strap is comfortable and easy to adjust.

DAMIEN A It's a high volume mask and bulky. I wouldn't recommend this mask.
