Shopper Does the Kevlar palm impact the ability to grip well? I am planning on using these to spearfish with my pole spear and I'm curious about the grip. any tips would be appreciated, thanx
CONSON H The Kevlar grip doesn't effect the ability to grip any object. But the gloves do run a bit small.
BRETT H I, bought the 5mm not the 2mm, so I believe once they are wet they should work fine.
WILLIAM N I use a small pole spear to plink lionfish when I'm diving and I had to add some tape to the spear to keepit from slipping. When I hunt with my big pole I don't use these gloves as I can't grip it well enough to make consistant shots. The gloves work great to protect your hands, but the thickness of the product will effect your ability to feel or grip quite a bit.
HUGHES S They do not grip that well. They are also bulkier than I thought they would be. I spearfish in warm water and do not like neoprene gloves.
DANIEL S I regularly use a Hawaiian sling while wearing these gloves and have had no problems. They've also been effective for lobstering.
MARK B These gloves have an excellent grip. I volunteer at an aquarium and use these gloves every dive there.
CHRIS B the grip has been great for me! I actually thought they wouldn't grip that well like some of the other gloves that have that sticky rubber palms but that has not been the case.
