I bought this to haul diving gear on and off dive boats. It worked well, but was almost too big. It easily holds all the gear - but gets very heavy if you fill it up. I had to haul my gear a couple blocks at one one point and it was a struggle without wheels. Otherwise it is sturdy, well made and drains easily and is easy to load and unload.

Just used this in Florida diving off of two different boats. The bag is very large, which I consider a good thing. The large size also came in handy on the second day of diving in Florida. The seas were rough with at least 8 ft swells. The boat was getting beat up pretty bad and there were numerous people getting sick all over the place. As I finished my second dive, I literally dropped all of my equipment right into the bag as I took it off. Because it is large, you don't have to arrange the equipment "just right" to get it all to fit. I was seated at the back of the boat so there was constant waves breaking onto the back of the boat. Anything dropped on the deck was going to be washed out the back of the boat. I had no issues because everything was dumped into the bag before it had a chance to be lost. The dry pocket worked pretty good. My cell phone was in it and it still works. It does not work as well as a true dry bag but for most diving, it will keep everything dry. This particular day was a good testament to how good it works since everything on the boat was soaked. If you need to keep something complete dry, throw it in a dry bag and then into the dry compartment of this bag. After returning to the dock, I just threw the gear in the car and went to the hotel to rinse everything off. The mesh bag folds up flat and fits on top of my gear bag that I check. It fits so well that if a nosy airline employee looks in my bag, all he or she would see is the folded up mesh bag, not the dive gear underneath. Lastly, I had a large camera housing with me and the mesh bag holds that with all my gear comfortably. It makes getting to and from the car easier if it all fits in one bag. I would definitely buy this again.

This bag travelled with me from USA to Canada to Greece, with all my equipment loaded inside. Not a single tear, even when going through all these airports! Will fit ALL your dive equipment and accessories and then some. Don't get carried away with what you load cause then you'll have to find a way to carry everything!

I purchased this bag for my son. We were able to put two sets of gear in it, it is so big. Don't think I will do that again, as I had to carry it all. Even so, it can do it.

The dry pocket is also a nice feature and also very big.

The zipper appears to be of high quality. It zips so the entire top flips back, making it much easier to load than my boat bag.

Excellent boat bag. I highly recommend this product
