Shopper Does she also go Aladin sport?
GREGORY J K I can not answer this with certainty. Aladin seems to have reused model names. It will not work with the first generation Aladins (Sport or Pro) , which are usually labeled Beuchat. These computers did not have a download feature. Uwatec seems to have used both names on the second generation of Aladins, which are compatible with this unit. I think this unit is also compatible with some later Aladins, such as the Air-X. I do not think this unit is useful with the current computers being sold by Scubspro.
All this being said, if you have a specific need for this interface, such as needing it for second generation Aladins (I have 3 myself), buy it. However please note that this is an obsolete item and may have set on a shelf for a long time. You'll also need an older PC with a serial port or a serial to USB adaptor cable. Operating with an adaptor connected to a PC running Windows XP has beem problematic. Several attempts to download a dive are sometimes required, especially if the PC is running another program at the same time. This same condition was also present when using the first generation Uwatec interface cable, which operated on DOS only. So I can't say if such difficulties are caused by the unit you are considering or just the nature of the beast for the older Aladins and thier download units and/or software.
