Questions about this item:
yalcin e hi, can this computer be attached to the yoke first stage?
CURTIS R The fact that is is a yoke or din first stage has nothing to do with the computer. It connects to the high pressure port of the first stage. Just remember that this isn't an intergrated computer. It does have a pressure guage on the back side of the console.
JIM J Yes, It has a pressure gauge on the back of it. The computer needs to be attached to a high pressure port on the first stage.
IRA H Yes, the console SPG attaches to your first stage.
Ira
Shopper Does this computer give ascent rate as a percentage with audible and visual warnings for exceeding 100% ascent rate?
ALEXANDER W Yes, this computer will give an ascent rate percentage as well as audible ascent rate indicator. The computer beeps faster as you exceed the prescribed rate. It will display your rate and if you exceed it in the center of the display.
A quick google search should turn up the manual for more detailed information. I have used this computer on 5 dives so far. It seems to work very well.
Shopper Does this one auto start when submerged?
JIM J Yes, you can go into the settings and choose yes or no for auto start.
Taylor S I have a Cressi set up right now, but don't like the algorithm that it uses. Can this computer be attached to a standard Cressi first stage?
JIM C It should, there's a standard fitting size for all gauges and first stages. I had an Oceanic Pro Plus II, and replaced it with this one. No issues at all attaching it.
ERIC J I dont know the Cressi setup, so cant say for sure. The hose connect works fine on my old US Divers regulator, so unless you have a DIN first stage it should work fine.
Shopper does this come with a high pressure hose?
STEVEN W Yes it does come with the high pressure hose.
DON C Yes, it does come with a HP hose.
TOM L Yes, it does come with a high pressure hose.
Shopper Does this computer have temperature display?
What are The differences between this ant the prime unit?
VINCENT S Yes it has temperature display.
JAMES B yes, when you're out of the water it displays ambient air temperature,
when your in the water it displays water temperature,
I don't know the differences, I've never owned or used a Prime
DAVID S It does have temperture reading.
THOMAS G Not only does it display temp it will record the max and min temp of each dive plus the air temp of the surface interval. The dive log will display a temp graph of each dive - very detailed. The biggest difference is the 2g handles multiple gas mixtures and the prime does not. The settings on the 2g are easily changed via computer, not sure if you can do that with the prime.
TOM L Yes this does have a temp display. I bought two of them and my sons & mine both read the same temp, plus I checked it against another gauge and all 3 matched. There very accurate. As to you question about the differences about the Prime and the 2G, I can't say, as I am not familiar with the Prime. Although I believe that the Prime will not do O2 up to 100%
VINCENT N It does show temp. Don't know the difference between units, but have mine set very conservative, I had a DCS hit a few years ago, and really makes a difference between other computers that aren't adjustable. I feel alot safer with this computer.
G. V Hi, there'
1. What is the difference between Uwatec Aladin Tec 2G and Uwatec Aladin Prime diving computers?
2 When it comes to recreational no-deco diving what is the difference between them?
3. Does Tec 2G show remaining no deco time, safety stop and other things as Aladin Prime?
Thanks,
GV.
Brett H 1. The Tec 2G takes the features of the Prime and adds to them, the options of diving with 3 different gasses per dive. So you can have 3 different tanks of nitrox on a single dive and the computer can track that for you.
2. When it comes to recreational no deco diving there is no difference between them.
3. Yes it does.
Mary Paz C Does this computer has air integrated.?
TAYLOR D The computer is NOT air integrated. The pressure line is connected to a mechanical pressure gauge that is seated in the same console, but not the computer. I own this exact model. It works really well too.
TAYLOR D The computer is NOT air integrated. The pressure line is connected to a mechanical pressure gauge that is seated in the same console, but not the computer.
LORRAINE W The computer component does not have an air pressure gauge. However, the back side of the console is the air pressure gauge monitor.
For the price, this computer console is a great buy. The computer's logbook is a little tough to master initially but becomes second nature quickly.
CLINT T no- air gauge is positioned on the back of the console
JOSEPH M No, it has an analog gauge on the back of it, that's it.
Shopper How long does the battery typically last?
LeisurePro S In warm waters (approx 70F and above), a new battery will last for approx. 20-40 one-hour dives w/ heavy backlight use. For temperatures between 40F and 68F, the life will be somewhere between one and 20 one-hour dives.
Shopper Can this computer be removed from the console and wrist mounted if needed?
LeisurePro S Yes, both the computer and compass are removable.
Shopper Can I get this in BAR?
LeisurePro S Unfortunately, we only have this exact model in imperial units. If you type 'metric' into the search box at the top of the page, all of our metric gauges will appear.
Shopper Does the Tec 2G have user replaceable batteries?
LeisurePro S Yes, the battery is user replaceable.
Shopper Do you have the plastic protective screen for the Aladin Tec?
LeisurePro S Yep! Check out sku UTCGPAPT.
Shopper What's the difference between the Aladin Prime and the Tec 2G?
LeisurePro S The Tec 2G is a more advanced computer. It can deal with Nitrox concentrations up to 100% (Aladin can only go up to 50) and gas mixtures. The 2G also has audible depth and ascent rate alarms.

It used to be that dive computers were a luxury. Now, they are seen as a necessary part of a diver's safety gear. The TEC 2 offers a multi-gas algorithm that takes gas switching into account when calculating your decompression schedule. Even if you neglect to switch to your decompression gas, the TEC 2 can recalculate your required decompression time.
The TEC 2 also offers all of the essentials required by the diving community, including a depth gauge, safety stop timer, a backlit face for easy reading without needing your flashlight, dive log (up to 1 week of dives), safety alarms (including a convenient silent mode), and more. The compact and streamlined design mean you'll only notice the TEC 2 when you're reading it - not because it catches on your other gear or the surrounding sea life.
The TEC 2 is like diving with an extra buddy a buddy who won't run out of air, get lost, or slow you down.
