Shopper What is the overall length of these fins? Will they fit a standard mesh snorkel bag?

IAN S The fins I purchased as I recall were M and L for my wife and I and both fins would fit in a snorkel mesh bag, please remember foot pocket size SM , M, L and XL etc the lenght of each respective fin size will increase by up to 2", SM will be shorter than XL. Ian

DAVID B They come in a mesh snorkel bag.

DMITRY P They are big They will not fit in a standard snorkel bag but need a dive mash bag as an alternative.

THOMAS D The ones I bought are 26 inches from top edge of the sole to the end of the blade. They came with their own mesh carry bag. I seriously doubt that they would fit in a standard mesh snorkel bag. BTW, they are great fins.

SEAN D They are rather long. I had to cut the bottom end out of my akona travel bag fin compartments to accommodate their length. But that being said they are a great fin. Lastly I would not recommend these fins for snorkeling as they are designed to perform completely submerged.

Shopper I wear size 11 shoe, bootie with soft sole when diving. My old Aqua Lung Rocket fins and Aqua Lung snorkeling fins are Large. I'm thinking L/XL is right? Also, do you have extra bands in blue?

LELAND M I wear the same size and bought the L/XL and have worn them diving in Cayman Brac in June, Love the fins. Very, very fast. Recommend using the middle level with the adjustable straps.

LISA M I am a woman, size 8, and I wear 7MM booties with pretty thick soles. I wear medium. I would think XL would be your best bet.

LeisurePro S They are approx. 69 cm in length and 24 cm wide.

Shopper Are these negitively or positively buoyant?

LeisurePro S These fins are slightly negatively buoyant.

Shopper Are the power bands--not the heel straps--replaceble?

LeisurePro S Yes, you can replace the power bands, but unfortunately we do not carry them. If you contact Aqualung directly, they can send you replacements.

Shopper Are the bands replacable? Do you carry them?

LeisurePro S Yes, we have the replacement straps here.

Shopper I wear a size 9 boot-what size fin should I use?

LeisurePro S I would recommend a medium for a man and a small for a woman.

Shopper will these fins work with Dry suits?

LeisurePro S Yes, no problem, just make sure you get a big enough pocket size to fit over your drysuit boots (add one shoe size).

These fins are what they are advertised to be in that they are powerful and are easy on the feet. However, my first use of the fins did not last one day in open water. It may be a fluke, but one of the power bands broke near the fin end of the band. They became unusable during my second dive of the day. Fortunately I brought a second set of fins. I was on an 8-day live aboard trip in Thailand and would have not been able to dive had I not thought to bring spare fins. This flaw is crippling to a dive trip if they are your only fins and it should be addressed at the manufacturer's level. For their price, this is a very big risk.

Having said this, Leisurepro has provided excellent service and will be replacing my fins. I am more than willing to try them again. I believe this incident is isolated and probably won't happen again. But I will take a spare pair just in case.

When the fins did work, they were very powerful and there is less stress on the foot. The fin is isolated from the foot pocket allowing the action of the fin to take place without bending the foot.

The foot pocket is a little wide but they are very comfortable.

Another drawback is their length when it comes to packing. They are a long fin, so have a big dive if you want to travel with them. Their length and width provide excellent power, however.

Great product. I just got the one in a million misfit fin. Perhaps I will write another review when I test the replacement fins.

Was diving in Cozumel, Mexico and had a Band snap at 100 feet. Not fun! Like swimming with a Flat tire. Can't kick. I had to rent fins for the rest of the week.Called Leisure Pro when I returned they sent me two Bands.Diving in Lake Michigan two weeks ago, 50 feet down and had another Band snap.I called Leisure Pro to return the FINS. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I'm going with something else. These fins have cost me too much.* Abandoned Dive in Cozumel and didn't do 2nd Tank.* Abandoned Dive in Lake Michigan - Cost of the Boat.* [...]** And One very upset Dive Partner - same friend on both dives.Further more, I called Aqua Lung to complain and they said Leisure Pro is not an Authorized Dealer for their Product.Also, Aqua Lung told me they had all kind of problems in the past with the Bands. About two years ago, they changed the Band design and haven't had any problems.I wonder if Leisure Pro Sold me a new old design of the fin. In any event, I've had enough.

A great fin, you can't feel so many difference between a "speed" or another but after a few kicks you will feel it. It's also a pretty heavy fin, but not so much.
Español: Una gran chapaleta, no sientes mucho la diferencia entre una "velocidad" y otra, pero luego de algunas patadas se siente. Adicionalmente se nota algo pesada la chapaleta, pero no demasiado.

I have now used these fins for two years (over 70 dives). Great fins. Fast and comfortable. The adjustments work. Good in medium current at the 2 or 3 setting. Tougher than anticipated. Just replaced one of the slings. Took two minutes. Strongly recommend you have a spare sling or two in your save a dive kit.

I purchased these fins based on the Scuba Lab reviews from 2010 where they were ranked #2 following the ScubaPro Sea Nova. It was a last minute purchase, so I relied heavily on reviews left by other seasoned divers. I chose these despite critiques that they were heavy due to reported fragility of the Sea Nova hinge. I just returned from a dive trip and am thrilled I chose these fins. Their weight is not significant, especially once you're in the water (did not have to change weights on account of the fins). What I did notice was how fast and efficient these fins truly were. They were easy on my joints, fit my booties perfectly not causing numbness at any point in the dive, and made me the most agile and speedy diver under the water. I didn't use the gear settings, so I am unable to review that feature. Bottom line: You will not be disappointed with these fantastic fins. Between these and my previous ScubaPro fins, I would definitely go with Aqua Lung.
