Shopper What do these fins weigh?

LeisurePro S I have a shipping weight of 6.4 pounds for the pair.

Shopper How long is the fin end to end?

LeisurePro S These are approx. 26 inches.

Shopper The description implies that they designed for swimmers with less powerful strokes. Is that true?

LeisurePro S These fins will increase the power and efficiency of everyone's stroke, not just weaker swimmers. That said, they would be great for those that DO have a weaker stroke- they make moving through the water easier and less tiring.

Shopper I wear a size 10 boot. What size would you recommend?

LeisurePro S You should be good with a regular.

Shopper If I wear a size 9 shoe....what size fin would I need

Shopper can you tell me are the BLACK fins in this model ALL BLACK, or do they have the GREY soft rubber section as well...kind of like a reverse version of the previous "Blade II" Black/Silver model ?

LeisurePro S They are black and gray. Remove blue on the picture we have and replace it with black.

I really like these fins. They are comfortable and they really get you through the water. Just a couple of kicks and I make some good ground...or water? Anyway, I definately recommend them. The only thing negative that I have noticed is that one of my straps sometimes pops off at the knob it is mounted on after I toss it in the boat after a dive. It is easy to pop back on, but I am afraid that I might loose it if it continues to do so. One other good thing to mention. I really like the quick release button that breaks the strap in two. It makes it easier and faster to take off the fins in the water before climbing up the boat ladder. Get a pair. You will be happy you did.

Had these for a month but it had no thrust. Went with a TUSA TriEx and night and day difference. Mind you the TriEx is a lot stiffer !! Currently using Aqualung Rocket Fin II and that footpocket fits like a glove.

the adjustable straps are PHENOMONAL for it, don't buy the spring straps, you'll be wasting your money.

These fins rock. I own a pair with the single hand quick release straps. my girlfriend owns a pair with the standard straps, her brother and dad also dive these fins. we all love them for their power and manuverability. the new straps on my girlfriends pair look really nice with a molded rubber pull strap.

Great fins. They perform well and look cool too. Great deal. Buying these from leisure pro with boots and shipping was cheaper than buying just the fins from my local dive shop. Amazing.

Comments about AquaLung Blades II Flex Open Heel Fins:

I have owned these fins for two years now. They have stood up great and show very little wear and tear. The straps are solid and the quick release mechanism makes it easy to pop them off. This is a huge bonus for rough shore entries/exits as well as for boat diving. They are a bit stiff for snorkeling, but are perfect for SCUBA, delivering ample power while being easy to kick. I have used both these and the Aqualung slingshot. I like these better.
