Bill B Is there a way to upgrade to Miflex hoses on any of you gauges?
MIKE L I upgraded the regulator to miflex but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it for the gauges. The connector goes into the over molded housing and there doesn't seem to be a way to get a tool onto it to unscrew it.
WALTER H This is a hi-pressure port device. Miflex hoses were designed for regulators and BCD's working off of the low-ressure port. While the minimum burst pressure of the Miflex hoses is listed as 3600psi, there is very little safety margin when used with a 3000-3200psi tank. It would be come dangerous to use after a few dives, as the hose will naturally develop weak spots as it degrades with time.
In short, the answer is "NO".
Perhaps they will come out with a "hi-pressure" product sometime in the future.
