I have to return these as they are too big, but the boot seems well made. I am a woman normally wearing a size 8, and ordered a size 6 (men's sizes) as advised. There is about an inch or more above my big toe while pushing my heel flat against the back. Boots should fit pretty snug so I'm considering going down two more sizes to a 4! A 5 could still be too big. I might even have my husband, a size 10, try these on tonight to see if he wants to keep them.

The soles are tough looking, sneaker-like with adequate tread. Could walk around the beach and even the town with these while on our trip. Stitching seems good. Back heel material has a waffle texture, presumably for more rugged wear against my fin straps? Thankfully, the material extends upward at the back of the ankle. I recently blistered the backs of my ankles in the area under my wetsuit leg. My fin straps worked it's way into that area and rubbed the skin right off. These boots seem to protect that very spot. Maybe this is standard (I haven't experienced a lot of different gear yet) but I like it.

Just be weary of the sizing. At least three sizes down, maybe four.

I wanted a lighter weight boot than my typical 5mm Oceanics for a Cozumel dive trip. Though initially comfortable, after 3 days and about 15 dives, the sewn seam was on the inside of the boot was rubbing. They are OK for limited use, but dive after dive - not good.

Comments about Tusa Imprex 3MM Dive Slipper:

I owned a pair of TUSA imprex booties that I purchased from Leisure pro in 1999 when I was first certified. These were with me for 12 years and were looking long in the tooth; they had holes, the seams were coming apart and the neoprene was completely compresed. They belonged in the trash except for the sole, which looked great even after using them for every type of diving including iron shore entries.

After such great service, Of course I went to replace them with their new version. WOW!!! what a dissapointment! they are now much narrower and the construction looks inferior. They fit lengthwise just fine, but my feet feel cramped (and my feet are not particularly wide). I wear a size 10, and ordered sizes 9-11 just in case. I returned all of them and I am now in search for that holy grail that fits like my old ones.

      Service and delivery comments:

Leisure pro never dissapoints in the service dept.

Comments about Tusa Imprex 3MM Dive Slipper:

I wear a regular size 10, but ordered a size 9 for the slipper and it fits like a dream in the water. The only con I can find so far after 3 uses (about 24 hours total) is that sand can enter the slipper when used extensively in the sand (I fan the sand with my feet and most people most likely will not ever do this).

The sole is amazingly thick and will protect the bottoms of your feet, but it doesn't feel clunky like others I've used.

Overall it's a great boot and I love it.

Bought these before a 10 day trip to Cozumel. The boots fit fine the first two days, but started to rub on my heels and caused blisters on day three. Despite the rubbing, these were great for walking around the rocky shallows and burning hot boat docks.

When I was shopping these were the only boots that I found that were small enough for my feet and had the shoe like bottom. I have done mostly shoreline entries and these work perfectly.
