Shopper I'm curious about the stainless steel quality, how long will it stay stainless? Over the years I saw a number of "stainless" steel knives that rusted very quickly.
MICHAEL L The quality is excellent. You are correct in being careful with the SS quality of dive knives. I have an old Wynoka that will not rust and a newer (still old now) Wynoka that rusts everytime it gets submerged. The Tusa knife is excellent. I used zip ties to attach it to my BC,
ART R Unfortunately cant answer for this knife. Lost it on a dive in Cozumel soon after buying. Other items that are SS that I have do begin to rust. I try to buy titanium when I can.
GARY R I've had one clipped to my bc for about four years. I rinse it after each dive without even taking it out of the sheath and it still looks brand new and is still sharp. Great emergency knife.
MORTON R I bought this knife 4 years ago and have had about 60 dives with it. I have not noticed any rust. I do rinse it with fresh water as soon as possible after a dive.
HELEN D The knife appeared to be of high quality and not susceptible to rust. As a matter of information, I rinsed my knife thoroughly and wrapped it in an oily cloth after each dive trip. Unfortunately It some how fell out of the scabbard which was fastened to a regulator hose and was lost. I would buy another.
RAFAEL F I bought this knife 4 years ago and it hasn't rusted one bit. I am very happy with it. It comes with and attachment to place it on your BC hose and it's great! Compact, sharp and the locking system is very intuitive and holds the knife in place. I would recommend it to everybody.
