Don't waste your money on split fins. These are every bit as comfortable and powerful. I actually went to a local dealer and tried some [$]split fins out in their pool for about 15 minutes. I decided I didn't want to spend [$]on fins. Found these [$] and checked Tusa's website and Rodales Reviews. You know what, the performance difference was minimal in Tusa's robotic test vs. split fins. Definitely not $100 worth of performance difference. These fins are every bit as comfortable and powerful as the Atomic's I demo'd in the pool. These don't hurt my feet, I have never had a cramp in my leg and you don't need to do the big scissor kick to get moving fast. I even outswam my dive buddy while carrying my anchor on the bottom to reposition it before our ascent.

Good fin
A little heavy, but accelerates well when needed. More flexible and yet a little faster than the Cressi Reactions.

Comments about Tusa Tri-Ex Open Heel Fins (SF-6):
I like these fins and have been using them for about 2 years on many dives. They are on the stiff side but that seems to make them good for power etc, you don't have to kick hard. They are also a little more narrow then some of the split fins so i think they are better for packing and travel. The straps are good quality and i thought about replacing them at first but they seem fine, lastly they are very comfortable, no blisters etc when worn with boots.

About Me Casual/ Recreational
My 7 year old Son and I both have the Tusa split Zoom Z3's. I bought these just as a comparison and I wanted some paddle fins and the price was unbeatable. Last night we compared them to the Z3 splits. First I tried the Tri-Ex and my Son used the Z3's and then we switched. We both felt like the Tri-Ex generated a marginal but noticable increase in "sustainable" propulsion. This increase was clearly at the cost of significantly increased fatigue. The Z3 is "WAY" easier to paddle in either direction and much better for snorkeling. Having said that my little boy could travel faster and further underwater holding his breath with the Tri-Ex but we could both paddle the Z3 with almost as much propulsion using a whole lot less energy. Conclusion: I will be keeping both and I love both models. Tri-Ex and Z3 in my opinion are the best bang for the buck fins you can buy and they are both comfortable. Good job Tusa and Leisure Pro.
Average Fins

I have used these fins on shore and boat dives. They are ok for calm water but I do not find them efficient in currents. I feel as though I put in a lot of effort for little propulsion.
Service and delivery comments:

About Me Beginner
I've got used to the Aqualung Blades II and I was afraid these new fins wouldn´t not deliver as good as my previous ones on strong currents, but didn't dissapoint I was able to swim faster and get less tired after a day of diving in the Pacific (Baja) .
