Shopper I'm trying to decide what to get. Why did you pick this one?
TAVIS S My wife wanted one like the Oceanic I got (jacket style with quick release integrated weights) and was intrigued by the buoyancy control system. She loves it.
SUSAN W I like this bc very much. Comfortable fit, easy to add or release air. Not a lot of pockets, but enough for me. Integrated weight system is easy to use. If you want to use a dive alert you have to add an additional hose from your 1st stage as you cannot add the dive alert to the normal place on the bc inflator. I recommend the bc.
JEREMY S One of the few BCD's designed for women. I3 is amazing. worth every penny
ROBERT E My wife purchased this one for the easy control of the inflate/ deflate valve, she loves it. Its much easier for her than the traditional type. she struggled with buoyancy control until this vest. great product.
PAULA A I love the lever that inflates and deflates the BC also it has built in
Support for your breast it is a very comfortable to wear. It takes a
Couple of dives to get use to but when you do you will love it!!!
VALERY M Both my daughter and i have one. Love it so easy to use.
HEATHER K I wanted to be able to have more control over the BCD inflate/deflate for boyancy. I let myself sink to the level I want to be at and slowly add little bits of air at a time using the side inflate/deflate valve handle and have more control than I have with any other BCD. I never enjoyed having to tilt upright to let air out and sometimes got water in instead. I also liked the front "padding" because I dive in a rash gaurd and shorts most of the time and it doesn't chaffe at all. I've never regretted it and feel like I can enjoy the dive much more now that I have such control over the boyancy. Good luck shopping!
NATHAN W Hi, my hubby did loads of reading about BCD's and felt this one was a very good quality one for the price, he got the mens version. also I am a bit busty and the cut made for women fits so nice. I went to a scuba store and tried it on before we ordered. Very user friendly under the water too. I have made about 30 dives with it so far. The lever to add just a bit of bouyancey is really nice too. Took some getting used to, practice is highly suggested but now I just love it and don't even have to think about how to use it. Do you have specific questions that I could answer?
C. R My wife liked the inflation system controls and the fit of the BC. She had trained with this BC when she did her OW class with a local shop.
We recently took a short trip and just rented BCs rather than flying with all of our gear since we were just diving one day. She hated the old inflator hose and swore she would never dive without her BC again. So I guess that's a two thumbs up from her.
JESSICA A I sent it back as soon as I got it. I hated it. The weight pockets are hard plastic and very cumbersome. It is a poorly designed update of the old Seaquest Diva QD. I decided to search ebay and buy a used Diva QD and am very glad that I did.
ROBERT D Designed specifically for a woman (my wife). Also I have a Sequest Pro which I love the quality of. The I3 BCD has an Integrated system meaning one less hose in your way.
TAMMY M It is very comfortable, loved the fit and especially love the color. Of course comfort and functionality is really most important and it is both.
RONALD R My Daughter selected this bc based on her familiarity with it since she learned how to dive using this model. So far it has held up well, although I'm not a big fan of the side inflate/deflate button, but she seems to love it. I've been on lots of dives with her and she's never had any buoyancy issues, so I would say its a winner.
LEE C 1) Very well made.
2) Many size adjustments.
3) Has weight pockets & on back where tank goes are two small weight pockets.
4) The I3 air inflate / deflate lever works well.
5) folds small enough to fit in suitcase, not heavy.
6) Last but not least its a US DIVER brand.
Ph and at current sale price of $299 you can't lose.
