If I need to change battery for Suunto D6, do I need to bring it back to the store? or I should be able to do it myself? thanks
The D6 does not have a user changable battery unfortunately, the computer needs to be returned to us so that it can go to Suunto for a battery change.
does this display show the water temperature. also does the d6 watch calulate the bottom on the dive. Thank you
Yes it does display water temperature, You will Know what your max depth was or is

The main difference in these computers is size, the D6 is a nice watch you can wear daily, the Vyper 2 is a wrist mounted dive computer.

What are the differences between the D6 and the D9
The D9 is wireless air integrated, slightly thicker and has a Ti case instead of the SS of the D6. Also of course there is a price difference.

Would you be so kind informing me on the units measure that your Suunto displays, please. I am interested in metric units measure. It means unite measure for depth must be meter and for temperature grades of Celsius.

There is no thick plastic or glass cover, but both the D4 and the D6 come with a user-adhered scratch guard (a thinner layer that is stuck on the face of the computer).

Are the bars on the side just grey and then red? If so, can an alarm be set to alert when going into "yellow" zone?
Sorry, there are no gradual color changes from yellow to red.
