Roberto G I HAVE A WIDE FACE AND MOUSTACH, DO YOU THINK IT WILL FIT WELL AND IF POSIBLE TO GET PRESCRIPTION LENS?
ROBERTO
JONATHAN M si se adaptan muy bien
CARRIELYNN P I have what might be a medium sized face with no moustach and this is my main mask and love it. A friend of mine always put something like vasiline on his moustach before a dive and it helped. As for prescription lens I would email sporasub usa for that one.
Great mask though, try it out. And yes I am not a bubble blower, only apnea!
JAMES G No, this is a small mask. Must have a small face.
Francisco B Hi Roberto:
I got the Sporasub mask because of its extremely low volume, light weight, cool looking and comfort besides the huge and wide vision it gives you. To my knowldge, this mask fits very well to small to medium faces but it doesn't mean isn't going to fit on your face, this is hard to tell...
I don't have a moustach and all depends how thick it is, just try another low volume mask to see if water gets in, in that way you can decide because a thick moustache some times is a problem...
I love this mask because of the reasons above although I have a Cressi Occhio Plus and a Omer Alien, they all work great and are very fine masks done for one purpose: Spearfishing and free diving because of their low volume.
About the chance of getting presc lenses, I don't know. Good question for Leisure Pro but I think you should be able to do it since it's a high $$$, high tech and a super fine mask (Top of the line!!).
I hope my comments helped you a little.
Regards,
Francisco B.
MOHAMED E Hi
This is a very nice mask with very soft silicon
I don't think there is a problem with wide face, but not sure about moustach
Dunno of there is prescription lenses for this mask, I use contacts, do to the small volume I don't think u can use "stick on" lenses
Hope this helps
ERIC B I have i medium size fit and this mask fits me perfect. However, the rubber on the mask is VERY soft, and will likely fit many face structures. I would put in on before you buy it though. As far prescription lenses go, I would contact sporasub.
MICHAEL L The mask fits best on a medium to thin face
BRIAN M Roberto,
I have a pretty big head myself 24" around. This is a very low volume mask,
it fits close to the face, and is a breeze to clear of water, but If you've got a big bushy moustache it could interfere with the seal for sure. All you can do is try one. The seal skirt is actually pretty wide and comfortable. I was surprised at how well the view translated compared to masks with bigger lenses. It's really a pure predator mask if you ask me, meant for spear fishing specifically. It its geared for free-diving, and made for low maintenance, ease of clearing with minimal effort, and low profile to preserve your streamlined profile in the water, and your free diving air. I use it specifically for spearfishing and snorkeling, I use a Cressi Fish eye type mask for SCUBA. I would guess that the lenses would easily be prescriptionized because these are just as close to being goggles as they are to being a diving mask, but you should ask Sporasub directly, and expect to somehow translate European standards to USA or the other way around. I'm not sure though, I've never worn glasses or had to wear prespription lenses. (knock on wood!) Good Luck!!
GREG F This is a great Freedive mask. However it would not be good for someone with a wide face and facial hair.
