Shopper I'm sure this maybe a off the wall question. But here goes- can you use this item with the seashell SS-1 ir SS-2 camera housing ?

CHRISTIAN L The diffuser is specifically designed for the Sealife external strobe. It is not meant to be used on a camera housing directly. I would contact Seashell directly to enquire about a diffuser made for their housing.
P.S. If your question relates to the Sealife strobe itself, I don't think it would be compatible with another housing; the strobe fibre optic sensor connects to the housing with a clip designed to fit the Sealife lens port.

RANDAL S It is really designed to go with the sea life flash.
That being said, with some modification, it may work with other flashes.

JONNEY C We all need information! On the SeaLife web site it says the diffuser is for use only with the Sealife Digital Pro Flash SL961. I looked up the housing you are speaking about and I really don't see a way this diffuser could be configured to adapt. If I understand correctly, your flash will be emitted from the camera inside the housing, correct? You might try placing a couple layers of opaque tape or even waxed paper over the flash itself. Just a thought! Hope this helped!
