Shopper Will this work to Scubapro A700 regulator and how can I fit buddy phone??????

KEVIN B I think the price jumped up since I bought mine. I think I got mine for around $380 a year ago.

KEVIN B It will work with all standard regulators since the rubber on the front is just like a mouthpeice. I found it helpful to heat up the rubber in a pan of hot water to get it more flexible to slide onto my regulator. One on just clamp it down with the clamp they provide (do not use a ziptie). I looked at the a700 and it looks pretty standard to me, but you should verify with scubapro that the mouthpeice area is standard size. Also I looked at the buddy phone and it's made by OTS, and they make a plug specific for this mask that I'm sure they make for the buddy phone. I didn't like how close the mic was to my lips, and there are more comfortable masks, but for the price and compatibility with so many different regs/coms etc it's a good deal I think. I used mine for work over 400 hours underwater last summer. I might try a Gardian at some point, but I have not regretted my purchase.

Shopper Will this product work with the Sherwood SR1 second stage?

KEVIN B If the SR1 second stage extension that the rubber mouth gaurd slides onto is a standard size (like most regulators are) it should work fine. I found my Sherwood Maximus to be a tight fit, but that's what I was hoping for. No one wants the reg to be too loose.

RICHARD B yes it will work with that reg. you will have to remove the mouthpiece from the reg to mount it to the full face mask. if you plan to use a zip tie to secure it use a tool to tighten it, otherwise use a stainless steel worm clamp.

CHRIS T I would think so, but there is only one way to know for sure. Hope this helps.

ROBERT F Yes...the Scuba Pro Full Face Mask will work with a Sherwood SR1 Second. You will have to remove the Sherwood mouthpiece first.

Ron P Can the alternate air source (octopus reg) be attached to one of the side ports, WITHOUT the Adapter which seemingly cannot be purchased in the US? Thanks Ron

ROBERT F The side ports on the Scuba Pro Full Face Mask were designed primarily to accommodate communication systems and not for a secondary air supply. I am not aware of any full face mask that is designed for an alternate air supply to be attached to the mask. Our Public Safety Divers train to switch from the full face mask to a standard mask with their standard alternate air supply. I'm not really sure if this answered the question.

KEVIN B Ron, You just need to go to scubapro.com and find a local authorized dealer. Call them and tell them what you need. It took me about 1 week to get my adaptor for a second reg attached to an inverted pony bottle. -Kevin PS the mask is not as comfortable as some, but it works well and I have used it for about 300 hours so far. The best feature is the tempered glass. I never have fogging issues with a little spit. I also have the OTS comms with mine in the third port.

KEVIN C I see no way for one to do that without the adapter. The mask comes with only one adapter for the front port. I might switch the ambient air port to the left side and put the alternate air port on the right. Surely a call to scubapro will reveal a source for that adapter. Wilmary F where can i buy a new strap for my mask?

Brett H The Cressi strap here will work in a pinch: http://www.leisurepro.com/Prod/CSBMFFS.html but it only has 3 straps to the scubapro's 5. Unfortunately we do not sell the stock strap for this.

SCOTT S Glad to help. Not sure where to buy a new strap for this exact model, assuming the suctomer has tried scuba pro directly, or a local scuba pro deal. Maybe Cressi-sub?? They make something similiar.....most call it a "monky mask", or "monkey face". I have an older one and the strap is a pretty close match. BTW - I love this mask....... Scott

Shopper Does this mask work with any 2nd stage or just with scuba pro's. I notice scuba pro 2nd stage piece that fits into this mask with mouth piece iis slightly smaller than others when mouthpiece is removed.

LeisurePro S This mask should work with second stages other than Scubapros. The attachment point is flexible and fairly universal just like most mouthpieces.

98% of the diving I do is industrial and work related. This mask is tough and reliable. I purchased our first one 8 years ago and it has been abused... still working fine. The only thing better is my super-lite 17. I have seen divers I have worked with who take to it without issue.

I have been a public safety diver for 19yrs and have used this model FFM for 9yrs. 99% black water/contaminated water diving.More versatile than the AGA,Less expensive,Easier to maintain,Lower volume = less lift.....

This mask is the bomb. I really enjoy using it. It took some practice sessions in the pool to work on clearing and underwater removal, but once youo get the hang of it, it shines. It's my cold water go to and I use it for search and recovery as well.

I purchased this mask as a possible alternative to an AGA mask for use in Search and Rescue. The price and the fact that the mask could use the Scubapro regulator I already use were a big consideration.

The mask did not meet expectations. The mask comes with NO owners manual and NO instructions on how to properly mount the regulator or comms. One important note; the valve on the left side of the mask, as you look at the photo, is NOT an ambient air breathing valve, ala the ABV or Gill in the AGA, it is a DIN fitting.

On the plus side the mask comes with an exploded view diagram, a parts list, and a fair quality padded bag. The mask has a good nose pocket and unlike the AGA you don’t have to rely on a nose block in the mask for clearing. The mask has a good field of vision.

All things considered I’ll stick with the AGA.

Purchased in hopes to relieve jaw stress and fatigue associated with dentures, but never could get an adequate seal during fam course in pool.

Abandoned the idea of using this full mask.
